What if... You have no idea, because how could you, but the WR's are running routes poorly? What if what you see is a QB throwing a horrible pass but it is really a WR not where he is supposed to be? What if after so many cumulative negative experiences due to this, Sanchez has become timid and second guesses every throw and as a result is late and lacking precision.

Oh Romo with all of the talent in the world is the answer, but Sanchez "exposed" for the QB he is because he lost his "talented" offensive weapons in Holmes and Keller is a joke?

You keep comparing apples and oranges.

First, except for you and a few other people, nobody cares why sanchez is timid, second guesses his throws, and generally sucks as a QB. All we care about is that he sucks and we should get rid of him. He has $50 million dollars to get therapy in the years to come to figure out why he sucked.

Second, you compare Romo and Sanchez. So let's compare them.

    Romo is 425/648 (65.6%) with 4,903 yards, 28 TD 19 INT and 6 fumbles
    Sanchez is 246/453 (54.3%) with 2,883 yards, 13 TD 18 INT and 14 fumbles

Sanchez is utter dog shit. The kid on the Browns who started for the first time ever in the NFL with Richardson out and absolutely nobody played much better then Sanchez against a tough Pittsburgh defence.

Thaddeus Lewis in his first NFL start on the Cleveland Browns with a rookie rb starting in place of Trent Richardson threw 22/32 (68.8%) for 204 yards with 1 td 1 int and no fumbles. This is a rookie who has never practiced with the first team making his first start vs a tough Pitt D on a terrible team with NO receivers and NO rb and he blew Sanchez's stats away!

Sanchez is a disgrace. Anyone who continues to defend Sanchez and make excuses for him is just making himself look like a fool. This is a fact, not an insult.

I have said it on this board for atleast a year now Mark is all HOLLYWOOD but never wins. He is to busy posing for GQ and partying instead of perfecting his craft. Joe Willy was bagged on for his attitude but he won a superbowl.

When you hear players say that Mark was/is never held accountable that says it all if you ask me. Mark needs to go, if we cant trade him then cut him.

So many people talk about the Cards and comparing him to Skelton but the difference is Skelton makes nothing and was a 6th round or so pick Mark is making almost 10 mil and was the 5th overall pick. If Mark wants to make the vet min so that we can sign "wepons" then fine but if he isnt willing then he needs to go....cause he sure does produce like an UDFA..

Thats not the point, Manning would have made Holmes an all pro...shit look at Decker and Thomas. My point was so many people said Mark just needs more weapons or Mark is good look at the back to back AFCCG's excuses instead of getting the best qb on the market.

When I watch Manning/Brady, if a single play fails, Its on someone's head.

Manning and Brady expect nothing but excellence from both themselves and the WR's/ TE's that they work with.

If the WR's ran poor routes and bumped into each other, its their fault. Im not a Sanchez apologist by any means. but its up to all players.

    DO YOUR JOB

If you fucked up, work on it, make sure next time you don't

At this point, if you are using the talent around him or coaching as an excuse you need to just GTFO and not come back.

I dont care if he is throwing to cardboard cutouts or fatheads. when you stare down 1 guy, who is triple covered, with all day to throw, and proceed to throw a strike into the defenders chest for a pick 6, that is on you.

sanchez could have superman and chuck norris at wideout and it would matter. his issue isnt WR's not getting open, his issues is accuracy and recognition and decision making. in all 3 facets he is not just bad, but all-time bad.

he is the undisputed worst QB in foobtall and a bottom 5 starting player overall at any position. and with probowl talent, he would still be the worst

exactly... defensive backs are defensive backs because they dont have the hands to play wide reciever. yet mark has no problem getting them ball in a spot where they can easily intercept it

please do not compare Mark sanchez to those 3 players. it makes you look really foolish.

Tony Romo, while a horrible decision maker who cant protect the ball happens to also be an extremely prolific accurate passer who makes as many big plays as anyone this game has seen. he is top 8 all time in QB Rating. Basically, he is mark sanchez if mark sanchez also completed passes and throw for touchdowns in addition to sucking horribly.

Joe Flacco is everything that mark sanchez isnt. a productive game manager. he wont put his team on his back much, but he rarely kills him. he turns it over half as often as sanchez does, and has won more then sanchez. in short, flacco is your defitinion of a mediocure game manager. which isnt great, but sanchez is the definition of a guy so bad he cant even manage a game against a horrible team without turning it over 5 times

Matt Schaub, again, like may make mistakes, but is a prolific player capable of putting up big numbers. he is 10 times the player sanchez is.

sanchez has never come close to 4000 yards to 30 TD passes. romo and schaub seem to have no issue moving the ball on offense. they might turn it over, but not as often as sanchez and they offset it with actually make positive plays on the regular

how about most of the QBs in the league.

hell we just won 6 games with mark being the worst QB in football, the most turnover prone player in football, and the least efficent qb in football.

im sorry, but id find it hard pressed that at least 2/3 of the league coudlnt have led this team to 9 wins.

i mean hell, he had 5 turnovers and we still had a shot to beat the titans with plenty of time left inside their 30.

what qb DOESNT win that titans game other then sanchez?

For what it's worth, Sanchez say that plans on "playing here forever". Based on his performance this season, let's hope that he isn't playing here as the starter.

Well you have 3 QBs in Skelton, Kolb, and Lindley. Fitzy and Tannehill don't. Gabbert/Henne don't. Vick/Foles don't. Romo doesn't. Alex Smith and Kaepernick don't. Locker doesn't. Rivers doesn't. Cassel doesn't. Palmer doesn't. Freeman doesn't. Bradford doesn't. Stafford doesn't. Ponder doesn't. Cutler is questionable. I have 16 without counting the backups that took over so 1/2 of the league.

Out of that list, Romo and Cutler probably give us the best shot but Cutler had a better D in CHI and Forte/Marshall in CHI but a worse OL. Romo would lose Witten coming here, a reliable target he loves to go to. In addition, there goes Murray, Bryant, and Austin also.

So I have 16 that couldn't get us to 9 wins. Remember, most QBs play will drop coming to the Jets considering their talent level at WR and RB and playmaking ability will be 100x better on their current team.

This is absolutely correct. And I was one of the people who was very against it. Man was I wrong. In my defense, I only didn't want him because of the cap implications and it would have prevented us from getting any other talent. Had I known we weren't going to fill any holes anyway, I would have flown to Indy to beg him myself.
