Wayne I agree with, but Andrew Luck and Bruce Arians made those around them better. Avery, and Hilton were no namers. Luck made them better because of his play. Not sure how Luck would do with Sparano, but we prob would of gotten to the WC with Luck as our QB.
Why didn't you know ? The Colts are stacked with ELITE talent at WR, RB, and all through the Oline. ELITE I tell you. Hall of Famer's across the board. Hell, Sanchez would have had trouble not going 14 and 2 with that kind of talent surrounding him.
He doesn't have julio Jones, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez, Michael Turner and Jaquizz Rodgers plus play 8+ games in a dome every year but in January Makr is a MUCH better QB. TY Hilton and Donnie Avery would be the best WRs we have right now(until Braylon gets up to speed and we only had Braylon for 1 game w/ Mark). Avery was a very good WR before he got hurt a couple of years ago which set his career back but he seems to be healthy now. Hilton and Avery aren't even his best weapons. I love watching games from 2010, he had some bad games but was really good most of the season. Very good: NE, @ NE postseason, @ Mia, Hou, @ Det good Buf, @ Cle, Minny, @Chi, @ Pitt reg & postseason, @ Indy postseason(bad 1st half, good 2nd half), ok or bad: @ Den, Bal, @ NE reg season, Mia, GB, Cin
They have 1 HOfer which is 1 more than we have and that HOFer nearly had 1,000 yds and the same per catch average last year with what was possibly the worst QB situation that the NFL has ever seen. You guys just have no clue what you are watching.
You think tebow can play in this league, you really shouldn't be discussing QBs. you think what Matt Ryan has to work w/ is similar to what mark sanchez has to work w/?
As far as Wayne...once Orlovsky started playing over Painter...Wayne started putting up numbers. Orlovsky is better than Sanchez.
Dream with me for a minute.... Sanchez starts the game completing 4 of 10 with 4 ints and no tds. He gets sacked and hurt at the end of the half. Rex has no option and must put Tebow in at QB. Tim plays lights out with 200 yards and 3Tds in the 2nd half winning the game. How would Rex look then? Reality..... I don't think Tim is the answer, but he has gotten a rough deal and deserves this one start to show other teams if he can play and Rex took it away. Sanchez gets yet another chance to show how bad he really is. This choice be Rex truly shows he is either an ass or just plain stupid. If Sanchez does look good its only because we are playing the Bills who didn't give any preasure the 1st game we played and whos defense is as bad as our offense.
But his QB can actually hit him more frequently and the coaches are willing to have him throw the ball more, which accounts for the nearly 50% increase in catches and overall productivity. Guess what ? If you put Sanchez on that Colts team, they'd look like they did last year with Curtis Painter.
I love how the uninformed anti-sanchez crowd is acting like Avery is Chaz Schilens or Clyde Gates. as a rookie playing 15 games Avery caught 53 balls for 674 yds, 12.7 average and 3 TDs. This year playing 15 games he's caught 60 for 781, 13.0 average and 3 TDs. His QB in 2008? a broken down Marc Bulger. yeah, Avery sucks!
lol. You did go to USC! I knew it! But I agree, Colt's WRs > Jets WRs and Falcons WRs > Jets WRs also.
AVery doesnt suck. No ones said that...but to say Sanchez would be any different with Donnie Avery is absurd. He's had Braylon and Santonio in their primes and he's still been around a 55% completion passer. Its not the weapons. He's a bad QB. The turnovers on sacks and the interceptions thrown around the line of scrimmage have nothing to do with Clyde Gates.
he wouldn't look like the defeated QB he is if he had all that talent. To compare Sanchez to Painter shows how little you know. Orlovsky started 5 games, Wayne in those 5 games: 28 recs, 308 yds, 11 yds per, 3 TDs in 11 games w/o dan starting: 47 recs, 652 yds, 13.9 yds per, 1 TD what a huge difference!
He tripled his td total. TD's are pretty important. Wayne started getting the ball once they had a somewhat competent QB. Orlovsky's numbers in those 5 games Sanchez could only dream of.
It's not Donnie Avery as the difference maker. Avery is the SECOND option in Indy, the first option is a future HOFer commanding double and triple teams. He makes guys like Avery, Hilton and Fleener better players. Our #1 is a guy who was projected to be our 3rd or 4th weapon in the pass game. Do you see the difference?
he also had 3 yds less per reception. tripled his TD total. it's not like he had 4 and ended up w/ 12 he was on pace for 68 recs, 948 yds, 13.9 yds per, 1 TD he ended up w/ 75 recs, 960 yds, 12.8 average, 3 TDs where si this startling difference? Wayne only has 5 this entire year so are you saying Orlovsky is better than luck?
How do Marks weapons make him fumble all the time on sacks? and lol at Wayne commanding triple teams. You have to be trolling. Also Sanchez was brutal prior to Holmes getting hurt.
