Really? If our QB could have tore it up vs crappy teams every time we'd be looking at the playoffs right now instead of the Sanchez shitter.
these two douchebags called, they said... i told you so. remember how much hate these guys got around here.
For the people saying sanchez doesnt suck and its just the talent around him let me ask you what would a bad qb's stats of been 100 turnovers. There are plenty of teams in the league with alot less talent on offense and on the team in general that performed much better. We have probowlers on the offensive line, an ok running game and had average wrs before injuries( holmes and keller are kerley are average)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_rib5nD5P0 just figured out the reason his numbers were so good, look how many wide wide wide open looks his recievers got for him
sanchez is terrible and this thread needs to end. He sucked as a rookie. he sucked in 2010. he sucked last year. he sucks this year. At no point in his pro career was he anywhere close to being decent. this year, in his 4th seasons, he isnt only the undisputed worst QB in the league, but he is arguably the worst PLAYER overall, at any position, in all of football.
It's really sad when you look at that. His arm strength was much better back then and when he threw the long ball he was stepping into it because of the way USC rolled him out and ran the dropbacks. Look at that highlight reel and the two things you do not see much of is Sanchez in the shotgun or taking a straight dropback and sitting in the pocket. He was never that kind of QB. Sad.
we literally could have been 14-2 in 2010 with decent qb play we lost the baltimore, miami, and greenbay games all because sanchez could do nothing afccg woulda been alot easier with the steelers traveling to the meadowlands
what makes it even sadder is 3 weeks ago they did all those things with mcelroy and it worked for the most part
We could have been 10-6 this year had Sanchez not thrown red zone interceptions. This is a slightly above average team that has a bottom feeder quarterback. The result is 8-8.
and we could have been 8-8 w/ another QB as sanchez rescued us numerous times that season. what QB was going to stop the 45-3 massacre? Our D always goes blamless for some reason whent hey have been the ones to blame for many of our losses(and get credit for many of our wins) including the 2 title game losses they blew.
Maybe but he was led us back at Miami, put us in position to win at NE. There was nothing we could have done about the 2nd NE game where the D stunk, the 2nd Miami game, or a few of the other blowouts.
Apparently, Sanchez is running the scout team in practice, got to be a low point in his career. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2012/12/greg_mcelroy_elated_at_jets_pr.html
I agree about the second Miami game. As for the second New England game. Sanchez gave New England 14 points off of turnovers, including the butt fumble. Don't forget about that random special teams turnover. Seattle blowout. Would not have happened had Sanchez just threw the ball when he saw Keller instead of pump faking it to him three times. We would have went up with a field goal and the complexion of the game changes dramatically. Sanchez is the biggest reason why the team won't end up 10-6. If you refuse to see that, you have problems. He lost 4 very winnable games for us this year, and didn't even give us a fucking chance to come back on three of them (Tennessee, 1st New England, and Houston).
second ne game and the chicago game were the only games the qb play didnt matter and in all those games where he led us back, the only reason he had to lead us back is because he was terrible for 3 quarters vs the lions he did nothing till there was 4 mins left, vs the browns same thing, and same thing vs the broncos comeback vs houston though ill give him credit for (that was pretty epic)
http://twitter.com/AndrewSiciliano/statuses/281796675096424448 If it turns out the Mayans were right after all, Mark Sanchez will have thrown the last TD pass in NFL history.
he gave them 1 TD on the buttr fumble where the game was lost at that point anyway. The other INT was in NE territory, it cost us points but didn't give NE points. The D was atrocious that night. I don't think people realize how bad the healthy talent has been, now mark could have been more conservative and not turned it over so much which may have wont he game the other night or another game but it's hard to score and win w/ this offense and as we saw w/ the D they have been great at times but the second we scored a TD they allowed Ten to march down the field to take the lead back so it isn't all on the O.
at Den: D was beat up by bad O at Miami: D blew 14 pt lead, mark led us back and gave us 8 pt lead late which D almost blew Minny: D blew 15 pt lead but we held on at Cle: D allowed Colt McCoy to lead tying Td in final minute vs. Hou: D blew 23-7 4th qtr lead at Chi: D blew double digit lead
He forgot a play. How can you trust a quarterback who said he forgot the play. He's getting paid eight million dollars to do basic nonsense... As for the Tennessee game, you can expect a half decent offense with a half decent quarterback to score 21 points on Tennessee. Stop making excuses for him, just stop. He's a terrible quarterback who honestly has been given MORE than enough chances tor redeem himself. His presence on the team is poisonous and toxic. Nobody wants to play for him, I bet.
Very true. These two guys were mocked by so many people but they were able to see through the bullshit before any of us. Another fail pick from the NY Jets. The Sanchez kool-aid on these boards was unreal. We got to experience our own version of Tebow mania & there are still some die-hards out there who believe Sanchez can turn it around. Crowning moment for us is when the majority of this board wanted nothing to do with Peyton Manning because we had Sanchez. edit: they still look like douchebags though
No, it didn't matter, but 45-21 would have been easier to swallow. Mark proved in a no cap year, with two premier (at the time) WR's a decent 3rd and good TE, a great o-line, 2 very good RB's, the #1 or 2 defense in football and a ST unit that put up points and gave a short field regularly, he could win 11 games. With anything less than that, he is at best 8-8. Thank you for your time Mark, some good memories... now beat it.
