you are in denial dude, this team sucks right now. Keep drinking the bullshit because it can get ugly fast
The OLine play isn't doing well at all which is feeding into Sanchez's poor play. I think Callahan has a good deal to answer for here as well.
no shit. I didn't start rooting for this team recently. Maybe I'm old. This team has lost a lot. A LOT since I became a fan so sorry if I enjoyed the last 2 years a little. When have I defended the way they played tonight? I'm not the one starting threads about going 5-11 and trading for Luck, like that would ever happen. Don't blame me for your thread.
If you're really not sold on Sanchez, between Sanchez, Barkley, Landry Jones, and Robert Griffin III, there should be some solid QBs in round 1 next year. But there's no way I draft a QB with a high pick next year unless Sanchez implodes to a level that would shock me, or if he suffered a debilitating injury. Even then, I don't know if I would. I would definitely consider using a mid-round pick on a QB though.
They just used a pick on McElroy. I don't think they waste a pick on a QB. This is not a team with a lot of depth.
Agreed. QB should not be a target next draft unless Sanchez is killed. Literally, no drafting a QB unless he dies. OLB, Safety and WR are too high on the concern list for next season. In fact, we should be drafting twice for at least one of those positions.
Agreed, he's done such an awesome with the OL. /sarcasm The entire offense needs hellfire missles up their ass. Call the pres.
Like, everything, is wrong with the post. I can't even respond without this going to TT. Sober up dude.
Or fire Schottenheimer, Callahan, and Cavanaugh and hire Sparano to coordinate the offense after Miami fires him as head coach. /sarcasm If Schottenheimer is to be fired, it wouldn't be ridiculous to give Callahan the job. The offensive line issues are not all Callahan's fault. Some of the blame goes to Tannenbaum for not getting better personnel and some of the blame is attributable to Schottenheimer for poor play calling. In the end, the team is stuck with the current coaches. Nobody from outside the staff is going to be hired during the season. That kind of thing doesn't happen in the NFL. The one and only thing they could do this season is fire Schottenheimer and hope that whoever gets promoted to OC would do a better job.
HOW WERE THE FIRST TWO FUMBLES REMOTELY HIS FAULT????????? I dont get this?!?!?!?!? This is all I keep hearing. SANCHEZ TURNS THE BALL OVER TOO MUCH YADDA YADDA YADDA ARE YOU Kidding me? The third one could be blamed on him, but the first two has nothing to do with him being a bad quarterback or not protecting the football. Its hard to get rid of the ball when your defense gives Ed Reed and then Haloti Ngata a freen run at you
Don't kid yourself. He's the first one to get blamed. In this case it is like any other job; YOUR department fucking up means it's YOUR ass on the line. Performance could change without Schottenheimer calling the plays but Calahan's job is to get the OLineman on the roster ready to play. Don't forget that he's also supposed to be the running game coordinator and that department is currently in its worst status since Rex has been here. Callahan has a lot to answer for, just the same as Schottenheimer and Cavanaugh.
I'd really like to know how getting hit from his blindside in the middle of his throwing motion can be tacked onto him. He's been hurried in the pocket all season, and the fact that I can use that exact phrase 4 weeks into it should tell you something. How do you expect a QB to perform in those conditions?
(deleted a bunch of shit) I might have mis interpreted your post. I have SOJF on the head. Apologies.
I wanted him pulled at halftime just to protect him. He didn't step into his throws, he couldn't. He had to run away from 340lb humans. This is the nail in the coffin. New OC next season. He better be good. That's a good QB behind center, you just wouldn't know it with the OL getting him raped every sunday.
Recognize the blitz. Recognize Reed being so close to the line and that you don't have any one blocking him. Feel the pressure. Get rid of the ball on time. Is it all Sanchez's fault? Hell no. But you're the quarterback, the ball is in your hands, it is your job to protect it. Sanchez does not have good vision of the field.
