That pretty much sums it up. If Brady, Brees, Manning, Rodgers, and Rivers defines top tier QB, well then those 5 teams should win the super bowl every year until they retire. But they don't. I think the stats DO say a lot, but as other have pointed out, Sanchez is too fresh in the NFL and too young in his playing career to make any judgements. Sanchez definitely lacks the experience to put up better numbers but stats aren't everything either. And if stats are everything - then this illustrious author was kind enough to omit how Sanchez increased (albeit slightly) his completion percentage. And through for 1000 yards more than his rookie campaign. So Mr Braddock - I ask if you are compelled to hold a double standard and look at the negative stats only or are you willing to compare the positives as well? Fuckin-a this offseason sucks!!!!!
