Lots of drops - Sanchez was high to Holmes on a should have been touch down pass. Watch the replays though - no one was open. Sporano called no plays to help them get into a rhythm - not one screen pass, no quick dump to a RB, no wildcat to mix it up and get the defensive line running around/tired out. On top of that did you see any separation from defenders? A lot of holding/illegal contact but Kerley and Hill don't have the skill yet to escape that physical style. They were just out muscled on the ends. No Keller killed Sanchez because Cumberland did not step up.
You have obviously never played football. That was easily a concussion shot. The first thing I was worried about was his stinger until I saw how quickly his head turned. We may be stuck with Tebow for a couple of weeks because of that shot. Easily a fine.
He definitely was concussed after that shot, that is a vicious hit and it should warrant a hefty fine.
He wasn't even looked at on the sideline...if he was concussed he would have been out of the game with the strict league medical guidelines.
Doesn't matter that the blow was on the face mask. The sudden head whipping can slam the brain against the skull causing a concussion. He was tough and lucky.
I'm thinking they ignored it. If they had tested him on the sideline, he could have failed the concussion tests. They just acted like he wasn't hit at all.
They ran into a pretty good Steelers team. Those guys over there earn paychecks too and have been pretty consistent. I'm kind of tired of losing to Pitt though.
No, no, no! I fully expect him to chuck that sucker down the field, sprint down the sideline, fake out a few defenders, blow past the safeties, and make a diving catch for a touchdown. Otherwise forget Sanchez. We need that sort of "above average" player to satisfy the media and some of the more bloodthirsty fans.
