Sanchez has plenty of arm to throw into the Meadowlands wind.

The one other thing I found intersting about Sanchez is that he was sacked 17 times last year. That surprised me becasue USC had a pretty good OL and Sanchez has decent mobility. I'm thinking he is forced to move outside of the pocket more to find a passing lane. Some say height at QB is overrated , given equal arm strength I'd take a 6'4 QB over a smaller QB anyday. I hope this is not an issue playing behind a pretty solid Oline the Jets have but I'm a little worried.

Sanchez has plenty of arm strength and his height shouldn't be a big issue since he moves well. I would be more concerned of course about getting the guy acclimated to the speed of the NFL. That is always the issue with a rookie QB.

The Sanchez deal wasn't a bad one for the Jets if he ultimately pans out. You guys got the guy for a song IMO. You really only gave up a second round pick.

The rub here is if Ratliff (sp?) actually turns out to be a good NFL QB and Sanchez busts out but that is a reach.

Not a bad move for the Jets really.

thanks for trolling uniform bomber, now stop being a tool and actually add something to the fuckin thread please.

you asked if anyone had seen him play in any kind of weather that wasnt southern cal weather. i was very honest in answering that i THINK that the game against osu was a bad weather game. they did lose the game and he did throw an int. his completion percentage was pretty decent. so i threw it out there for OTHERS to comment on.

the fact that i really dont care for usc doesnt help when it comes to remembering all of his what 16 games he played. the fact i wasnt and am not now a sanchez jock rider means i really didnt pay that much attention to his play in what i remember as a cold rain game and how it would translate into playing in the meadowlands that we have never even seen played in yet. i do recall be quite happy that the wonderful condoms lost the game.

then a couple people answered that it wasnt a factor, so i asked if it was a rain game as i remember it being so.

there was no hate in that post, YOU are the one who decided to be a tool in your own thread, i simply answered the original post and asked if i remembered that it was a rain game to the guys who remember the game more vividly than i do.
