Rivers only did that because none of the clowns in the CBS studio picked him in the question about whether Manning, Ben, or himself was the best QB of the 2004 class. One of them compared them to the Elway/Marino draft class, which is absurd because none of the three are elite QBs on that level. I honestly can't rank them. They're all upper-level quarterbacks who aren't quite generational players like Peyton Manning, they all have the ability to up their game in big moments, and all have warts that make you think they're godawful drooling morons at times. Whichever one is best or worst seems to depend on the given day.
By the way, why is Jackson playing today? Shouldn't he be suspended by the league for getting a DWI earlier this week?
Here we go CHAR-GERS - Here we Go! Thump! Thump! Here we go CHAR-GERS - Here we Go! Thump! Thump! Here we go CHAR-GERS - Here we Go! Thump! Thump!
Wow what a return! I love Nantz pronouncing Scifres name right for the first time on the return... Classic
I'm not sure if Scifres had to punt from deep in his own territory last week. If you do, you're put in a bad situation. You can't just launch one, like he did there, because then you outkick your coverage and open the door for a big return
as soon as I saw roflberger lining up on 4th and 8, I immediately thought quick kick. He's surprisingly good at it. If someone did that against the Ravens or Steelers (4th and 4 or more), I'd simply play Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu as the deep safety, and if it's a quick kick, they can return it.
