So they've made one pick in one draft and they're morons. You could be the next Norman Einstein.

Yes, it's sad when we actually address some needs in the draft.

Horrible would be Davis or Cutler at 4.

No we didn't get the sexy pick...But this is fine.

Not really. I think it's because of Leinart's less than stellar arm, and the fact that he might want to party with Jessica Simpson and Alyssa Milano more than play football.

taking the glitz off the draft , Brick is the real need filler , taking a QB to get pummled in his first year would have been ludicrous. Had we not drafted him I'm sure he would have gone soon after.

I really didn't want Brick but I much prefer him to Leinart. Leinart is dropping for a reason, he doesn't have an NFL arm. D'Brick was picked at 4 because he was the highest rated player on our board. We could still make a deal but it looks like we have a set board and are going to follow it.

Excellent Poin Kris and absolutely correct -IMO

    But
You do not Use a 4th for the O-line. Roaf , Ogden were freaks of nature, D'Brick is a Project. There is a difference and we will pay.
I only pray we get what we need w/ the rest of the draft because I will quickly have Tannenmanginus!!!

I agree with what most of you are saying that we had too many needs, but i just think at a #4,you get a gamebreaker. You start going for linemen after pick 10. I really don't want to have the Jets bulit around Patrick freakin Ramsey! Please god no!!

Same old effin Jets fans, never happy unless the FO does exactly what YOU want them to do. Who cares what may actually be best for the team or the fact that not taking one person doesn't mean the guy you took sucks?

I mean how dare the FO make every effort to get Bush as was reported on both NFL Network and ESPN but the Saints weren't interested. Guess they should've offered the Saints all our draft picks because Bush is just that damn good. Another Barry Sanders who as we know has oh so many SB rings. Great RB, amazing to watch, love to have him on the team but not worth trading the farm for.

What are you talking about?!?!?! If anything this draft is limited in terms of quality of O-Line. After Brick, there is a HUGE drop off!!! Great pick! sorry you guys are always looking for the sexy pick but the o line is where a football team is really built around!

hey look at it this way, when the fans boo at the draft/online/wherever, its more likely the pick is actually the right one (this goes for any team)

We perhaps have some of the most ridiculous "fans" in the NFL.

I'm with you on DBrick, I wanted Williams or trading down but like you said he was the top rated player on the board. We still have another first rounder and this FO has already shown they want substance over flash with many of the moves they've made.

The Patriots got a franchise QB in the Sixth Round. Just because you draft someone #4 doesn't make them a sure fire pick.
