Agree... Have to say your brave to watch that game again. There were plenty of opportunities for Wilson to make plays but couldn't. A little off topic, was that a fumble on Pats first drive? It looks like Sauce strips the WR and picks up the ball and should've scored. But we didn't challenge the play or there wasn't any replay available at that time?
this is the worst situation, even if we start mike white, we know one thing for certain, he cannot stay healthy. then what? flacco is not the answer and we'll be forced to go back to wilson, who's confidence and attitude should be wonderful. but unfortunately, the move needs to be made. zach is not a professional football player other than he earns that paycheck.

I disagree on one premise. White starting yesterday would not have guaranteed a win. Belicheck probably would have had a much more exotic defensive plan. BB’s defense was as basic as it gets. He shut down the run entirely with the premise that he wasn’t going to bother worrying about covering receivers. Zach is leaving wide open receivers all over the field. He has been all year. Belicheck didn’t bother whipping up confusing zones or anything. It was literally just stop the run and let Zach implode. With White or any other QB he’d at least have honored pass coverage responsibilities and probably cooked up schemes to confuse White into turnovers.
If Saleh trots Wilson out there now he is the biggest moron in Jets coach history to date, he is even worse than Adam Gase. A. He will lose respect of every other player on the team. B. Zach Wilson who is already a headcase will be booed no matter what after what he said and it will 100% no doubt get in his head and he will be even worse than before. The only way to win for Zach Wilson at this point, is for White to go out there and suck, so Saleh has a excuse to put Zach Wilson in again and than the fans won't be so mad at Zach no more, but if White goes out there and has a good game on Sunday Zach's career as a Jet is over
Why doesn’t anyone think Streveler is an option? He’s way more mobile, dangerous and accurate as white. If they had any balls at all they’d start Streveler. He’s the modern day day QB.. he will not allow anyone to load the box against avg RB’s and the RPO will do just that, provide options. Zach is a tiny brained wimp with no feel for the game no head for the game and the worst decision making QB they’ve had. It was a fun couple of preseason games, but Steveler is just another Greg Simms/Bruce Petty/Brooks Clemens type.
There’s also the outside chance that being benched is the kick in the ass he needs to finally put in the work. That’s been his biggest problem as a pro, since the day he was drafted he was going to be the starter. Everyone knew Darnold was not going to be on the team so by default he was handed the job without having to earn it. Maybe finally having to sit is his wake-up call. I refuse to believe this is really all he has!
Yeah even if you took out the 6-8 "Zach attack" throws and White just made 3/4 (he likely would have completed them all) of them, plus who knows what those extra 4-6 completions would have led to the Jets probably squeek out an ugly but hard fought win Sunday. I still am bothered by that one to Moore where Wilson saw him, threw to him, and the ball just clunked into the dirt 10 yards short. wtf does that come from when he does that?
Watching a lot of experts break down the film from the Pats game GWilson was not open very much against mostly man coverage. Zack sucks and if Saleh was going to bench Zack this week why not bench him against the Pats Everyone could see Belly was in his head Bring in either White or Flacco for a quarter and we are in first place . We needed to get to the 28 yd line just once in the second half and we win The loss is on Saleh it is even more depressing he is like Zack his read is too slow and too late
In fairness, getting to the 28 wasn’t exactly a guarantee yesterday with that wind. Folk missed a couple himself. Otherwise the game would have been decided before halftime
At this point the Jets need to start the QB that gives them the best chance to win. You can't worry about White getting hurt, you need a competent quarterback who can keep moving the sticks and help the team win.
Just watched the Curt Warner breakdown. This is just not true. There are not WRs wide open and it was not basic coverage.

I think Zack's stupid comments about not letting the defense down cost him his starting position. I am guessing it upset a lot of his teammates and coaches. As QB he showed very little leadership with those comments and possibly lost his teammates. A big No-No as QB. He needs to address the team and apologize for his comments and lack of leadership. Otherwise, I can't see him starting again.
