"While the ruling allows Saints linebacker Vilma, banned for the 2012 season, Saints defensive end Will Smith, Cleveland linebacker Scott Fujita and free agent defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove to play immediately, it does not permanently void their suspensions." http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8...anthony-hargrove-overturned-arbitration-panel I guess it's technically a "temporary reinstatement"
It's funny, you cite murderers getting out of jail, a simplistic and childlike comparison to the legal system, and yet you completely ignore the fact that the supposed judge, jury and executioner of the NFL has really provided no evidence or even anything resembling a trial. When an industry such as professional football rakes in as much money as the NFL does, and the numbers affecting the careers and lives of people like the players involved are so large, you can't just burn the tapes and move on anymore. Government getting involved in the czar-like behavior of Goodell was inevitable.
Total nonsense as usual. I said people seem to be happy that they get off on a technicality and they do. The fact that Goodell may not have been able to suspend them on the grounds that he did is meaningless. They will still be suspended and it may take another week or two to accomplish but in the meantime they will get paid for the year at the expense of a couple of others who won't.
No, actually, you made a stupid comparison, as usual, and then used what talking heads have been saying for the past 24 hours to comfort you in your stupidity. Stupid.
