How exactly did we fix the RB position? As far as I know we still have brick-hands Greene, 3rd down back Powell and trick play McKnight.

We didnt fill any holes besides 1 Safety, still need another.. backup QB was the least of our worries and now we have 3... We need to draft a ILB, DE, WR... hopefully we can go out and sign 1 more nice FA.. Braylon??

Exactly, Tebow is not a RB. Its kind of hilarious that some actually think Tebow could be a successful RB. Him being a QB is what made him a good runner. If he were to line up behind Sanchez, he would not be successful at all.

As far as I know, we still dont have a #1 RB on the roster.

He's faster than Greene and more athletic. He is also not injury prone. Why can't he play HB?

Don't worry about it, we'll probably be trading up for one and taking another one with a late round pick.

He will refuse to play anything but QB.... I guarentee it.. If we try to make him into a utility player he's going to throw a little hissy fit....

I hate Tim Tebow. I fucking hate him, his cult following and I hate the fact that we made a stupid trade to get him. I think what you're saying is ridiculous. The guy has said that he'll do whatever necessary to help the team, whatever role that is.

I hope you're right.. I never said I hated Tebow. But I thought Denver tried to do the same thing with him and he refused. If he's willing to be a team player and do whatever he's asked, then this will be a good marriage.

Well then he is going to continue to sit on the bench. I think Tebow wants to win more then anything and would be willing do whatever is asked of him.

I can't recall Tebow throwing a hissy fit ever before so why would he now?

He’s really not faster or more athletic than Greene. As much as I dislike Greene’s athletic ability, Tebow is not comparable.

Saying he’s not as injury prone is a non sequitur, because Greene was our “workhorse” and received all of the carries- running straight into the gut of the defense half of the time. Tebow was a QB that liked to run, which means he didnt take the kind of beating Greene had. Its comparing apples to oranges.

Tebow’s running success came from the defense having to treat him as a QB. He never ran it up the gut, all of his runs were to the outside because a play broke down, or it was a designed QB run.

Its almost like saying Brad Smith should be a RB...At least he is more athletic than Greene.

Greene even before receiving the majority of the carries was getting banged up and coming out of games. Tebow takes hits all the time almost every play. He is either running the ball or running the option where he still gets hit for faking carrying the ball. Not to mention the hits he takes for when he does drop back to be a passer.

Smith didn't have the body to be a RB. Tebow does or atleast a TE although I don't know much about his catching abilities.

its soo funnnn to think.... But Tebow is definitely going to want to play QB, and since we have Mark, its not possible right now. I dont think he's gonna want to risk his career being a glorified running back. Herm Edwards and Skip Bayless both said that if the Jets try to make him into a utility player he should be selfish and insist that he's a QB.

He was basically a glorified running back last year. If he would rather sit on the bench for a season thats up to him. Which if you knew anything about Tim Tebow is the last thing he wants to do.

Sucks that Michael Bush signed with Chicago to be a backup for a 14 mil deal. We could have easily afforded that...they must be convinced they are getting a RB from somewhere.
