Seemingly every national media outlet wants to paint the Patriots and Bill Belichick as villains, and as Hobbs suggests, it may be the coach’s own fault. “I think Bill would be the first one to tell you he comes off as a jerk, intentionally,” Hobbs told ESPN Radio. “Because I think what he tries to manifest throughout the players is that we’re here for football. With so much going on, and the circus in the media and all that stuff, and the hoopla in the NFL these days, it’s so hard to keep the focus on the game with the players … I think by him doing that, it kind of sets that tone that you know we’re here to play football and win games.”
Unfortunately for Rex, he couldn't lift his leg high enough to kick anyone in the ass! Lose some weight tubby
Yeah I knew there was a reason Kraft was willing to give up a first rounder and sign him to a big contract.
I'm calling it now. We go 2-0 against the Pats, at the worst 1-1, or Ryan gets crucified by the fans. Coaches that suck it up in the preseason either are hiding their good shit and do very well, or we're just gonna suck.
And his record before and after was what again? oh, he was 5-11 in NE before...36-44 at Cleveland..I'll let you figure out what he was after brady. you can check here http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/BeliBi0.htm
We dont have a coach, we have a comedian. Shecky is at it again today with comments about the Pats. Getting embarassing
there is no need for all this bullshit pussy talk. go prepare your team to play this week. prepare your fantastic new qb to play more than 8 plays. prepare your team to beat somebody instead of losing to a team like the rams. do fucking anything but keep talking.
Ryan is right, if ANY teams players NOT just They Patriots, but if ANY teams players, needs another teams players, fans, media or coaches words to get them motivated, then they have pretty much lost the battle and the likelihood of losing that game is greater than winning it because the tactic has worked. Ryan although his tactics can be somewhat scary, are refreshing. 'It's a process and you play to win the game'? Come on. Jets teams under Herm and Mangini, looked scared out the gate when we played the Pats. I don't think it's bravado, this guy is just like his pops, if it comes back to bite the J-E-T-S in the backside, I STILL think this is going to be his approach. I'd rather a brash team, than a bunch of pussies that bend over and take it up the a**. I'm sick and tired of this friggin Belichek 'mystique' he's a man like anyone else and we need coaches to stop coaching games like they are scared of losing against this mans 'reputation' and 'mystique' and coaching to go out there and bust his teams a**, while pissing all over the friggin Patriot logo.
