Who is to blame for our poor running attack?

    To clarify, I meant getting dominated physically at the LOS when trying to push forward / open holes. They are very good at holding their ground in pass pro.

    At some point this team needs to get beyond the excuse that they were playing better competition / talent. I am not saying they should dominate every game, but if the Jets are ever going to make a meaningful playoff run they are going to need to beat great teams...that hasn't happened for quite some time (unless you want to count the NE mud game).

    Otherwise you have a team that beats who they are "supposed to" and loses to the "better teams." And then end result is somewhere between 8-8 and 10-6 with a wild card and an outside shot of one playoff victory. I've seen those, I like to see what is beyond that.

    Grading an RB involves a lot of factors. Someone mentioned above that Jones is durable. With some of the much noted nonsense going on at stocking other positions more than is typical, part of getting away with that is that Jones has not gotten hurt, and is dependable.

    I also expect D's will have to be more concerned with pass D, and that should open things up some for Jones.
