The problem starts with our OL. Ferguson - Has always been more of a pass pro and that's fine at LT. Slauson - Average puller at best. Not what you want from a LG in a ground n' pound. Mangold - Good Moore - Not the run blocker he used to be. Getting old + not a fit for the new scheme (too small) Howard - Who knows...
Just my opinion here, but Greene is to 1-dimensional in that all he can do somewhat effectively is run the ball (and he's not very good at that). We can't run an effective screen game with Greene in the game. We can't run effective draws when Greene is in the game. When the D sees Greene in the backfield they tee up the run blitz and double Tone. Maybe we can use Hill to burn that D alignment, maybe not. I think the O would be much more effective with Powell as the starting RB since he catches the ball so much better and doesn't tip the play to the D.
