Rose Bowl : Mariota vs Winston

Winston has made a number of awesome throws in this game. We would be lucky if he fell to us

Yeah I think this season they went away from read-option and tried to make him a pocket passer more. He seems to excel most when he is allowed to freelance and run. Harbaugh tried to keep him in the pocket this season, and he became mediocre

 

Winston has turned the ball his fair share as well.

 

I'm still on board with mariota over Winston, but Winston has been much more impressive to me this game. I will not be opposed to either.

 

Mariota throws with touch, that is something Kaepernick does not do....

 

If someone can name one qb that has excelled in the NFL put of Oregon and I will put Mariota over Winston

 

Mariota making the right "read" and getting the ball out quickly for the TD.

 

Sure if you can name a QB out of FSU that has excelled in the NFL.

 

I'm on Winston bandwagon as well. He's making a lot of NFL throws IMO.

Chip Kelly's system is great. Doesn't make a QB great though especially if he isn't being drafted into that system

Can't either but I'll take winston from a pro style offense over from the run n gun oregon runs........I'll take either truthfully

 

If Winston didnt have the off the field issues do you guys think Mariota would still be the top prospect?
