Jesus Christ Tony ... Thank God you were smart not to act in rage otherwise you might not be here today. Intense ... Really scary, thanks for sharing the story. Truly a damn shame, how corrupt the police can be.
I spoke with a lawyer but he felt it would be a waste of time. Ultimately, it was probably best that I didn't. I could have easily become a target of those officers if I did. There is alot of corruption here. It's not that Im saying all cops are bad, but the ones that are, cast doubt for me on the good ones.
To this day, I can't figure out why I was left sitting in that car all night. What was the arresting officer going to do at the end of his shift? Let me go and laugh at having towed my car and roughing me up, hand me off to a buddy to try and push the burglary BS on me, drive me out to the glades and shoot me? It was just crazy. I figure my car being impounded left a record of my being taken into custody so he was just likely fucking with me but honestly, I did nothing at all wrong. It left me with a serious distrust of cops.
The problem is the good cops don't stand up to the bad cops. They feel they will lose their jobs, and be blackballed. I understand they got families to feed, its a tough situation.
Yeah that's awful, sorry that happened to you man. Some people want the world to burn. There's no reason for that cop to act the way they did. Wrong place, wrong time ...
Kyle Turley probably needs a haircut to this day. I think he twangs some country song crap now, but word has it, he did get a haircut and is still a major asshole. RIP Damien Robinson (no, he's not dead, just see Herm, can't catch for shit, and guns). You can't script any of it. You really can't. Jets Wide Receivers, next!!!
I'm so sorry that that happened to you. Here's a hot one, hope you enjoy it. A former co-worker of mine can drive anything, and I do mean ANYTHING, probably even an 18 wheeler, she is that good. She owns a horse, and she would hitch up her horse trailer dooley thing and drive her horse to where she boards him when she's not going to be home. Anyway, she's very tall, very athletic, very attractive, and a Mom who ain't raising no girly girls (she has 3 daughters, and they're tough as nails in constitution). One day coming home from where we worked (and luckily it was still light out), this local dirtbag pulls her over for speeding for going 45 in a 30. Now you have to understand the logistics. There's a STOP sign where you can go a soft right (fork thing), and or do this sort of weird quick left then straight thing to a traffic light. It's all of 30 feet at most no matter what you do. She waits at the red, and goes about ten feet after the light, siren, and gets pulled over. "Can I help you Officer? Why are you pulling me over?" Looks at inspection sticker, tells her to turn her lights on and off, please step on the brakes, I think you have a broken tail light (she didn't). License and registration, please, the whole nine nine yards. "Do you know why I pulled you over?" "No, Sir. I already asked you that." "Speeding. You were going 45 in a 30." "With all due respect, Sir, it's impossible for anyone to even do 10 miles an hour in that span." "Get out of the car." "What? Why?" "Get out of the car." "No. I am not being combative, but I am calling my Father (starts dialing). May I please have your name and badge number, Sir? I don't have a pen handy, so I just want you to recite it to me so my Father can write it down. Or else you can just follow me to the police station." He berated her, and forced all of her ID through a slit in her window with her speeding ticket. It got dismissed. She should've sued that tool and went after his job, but she's too graceful. She was so smart. When she said, "I smelled rape", my blood ran cold. There are so many good cops out there, let's not forget that; but there are also a lot of major assholes who shouldn't be entrusted with a gun. Anyway, is Alex Van Dyke still around? Terance Mathis?
Yep ..I say Mac extends his contract for knowing how to Call Saul.... and BTW would you let him date your daughter?
Saul could not have helped I'm if the reports were true. Dash cams don't lie. Cops do ! Thankfully I don't have any daughters. I had rules in place in case I did though. No dating until she gets her first Social Security check. Then she has my blessings.
Eh, I only read the headline before posting. Failing to appear in court for a traffic ticket isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it’s just another thing in a long line of bad decisions. Showing a really bad pattern.
It will be very interesting to hear what his excuse is. "My dog ate the summons?" "Oh, you meant May 1st this year. " Maybe he'll channel his inner Geno and claim he wasn't used to Florida time. As someone said earlier, this isn't the worst thing in the world but it's pretty significant because: (1) it shows a lack of responsibility; and (2) unless Anderson has a real good excuse, judges remember this kind of thing, and sentencing day is pay-back time.
It depends. The charge here is misdemeanor reckless driving, which is serious enough to require a court appearance. Also, when a defendant pleads not guilty, as Anderson is doing so far, a court appearance is required.
I don’t really care that it’s only for a missed court date, it’s a continued pattern of stupidity that isn’t being corrected. He is going to cost himself millions and millions of dollars.
