Why in the ffing F would you pull the race card on this? Do you know how many times I said that I wanted to chase Nick Mangold with scissors? Get a life. I'm the granddaughter of a barber, and it's a running joke. So, yeah, I hope Robby Anderson runs a 4.0 to the barbershop or picks up a WAHL for $39.99.
Now that charges dropped, it's a good time to trade this train wreck. Edit* although i may want to see if they get Allen first, as Robby a hard guy to out throw..
Only the latest felonies were dropped, he still has felony resisting arrest from may that haven't been dropped. I think what was dropped was threatening to kill or rape the cop's wife that was arresting him..nice, huh? model citizen
I always admit when I'm wrong. Last I just read, downgraded to one misdemeanor and paid a fine, game over (well, with the Jets, the game is over at kick off). Don't know what the fine was, but he is so damn lucky. Final details could change on this, course. OK, folks, it's been fun. Time to hike with my dog in the rain.
From what I have read, evading police is usually a felony, but it depends on how bad it was and which state. It's possible that might have been one of the charges dropped/reduced, although I haven't seen the details yet.
If true of course, your police force have never offered up any kind of falsehoods in their time have they , do you seriously think if they had proof he said that about a cops wife they wouldn't want to nail his black ass as fast as fuck. I would also suggest the first incident from last year is taking so long as they are struggling to get past the heavy handed approach by the police officer at that scene also. Now I am no way suggesting that our Robbie is an innocent guy with an unblemished character, fuck you only have to try and decipher his twitter crap to know he wants to be a boys in the hood kind of guy but the fact is they seem to be struggling to come up with a legitimate charge for him, plus a decent lawyer will no doubt suggest he sped away from the cops in the latest incident as he was afraid he would be shot, rightly or wrongly the race card gets played both ways at times.
Your right. Here in FLA, Anderson was charged with a second class felony for evading at excessive speed and reckless driving. I took alot of shit here when I tried to explain the intersection and why it was not possible for the speed reported to be true. The charge was dropped to a 3rd degree felony for reckless evasion but that was not possible given the location. It's now basically a traffic ticket. He's going to lose his liscence for a year. That's going to be the extent of it. The early case will likely be dropped as well. Ortiz , the arresting officer has a long history of suspensions and was fired from ft.laud for multiple false arrest. He has multiple suspensions for police brutality , falsifying reports and false arrest and caused multiple lawlsuits that the PD settled. He had just been reinstated when the Rolling loud incident took place. The other officer, who is Ortiz's witness, was just suspended this week for breaking the arm of a local teen. She claims the girl was trying to sneak into ultra without paying. The girl had her ID, ticket and was wearing the entrance wristband on the arm that was broken. Guess who that officers witness was, Ortiz who in now under investigation again.
because I never understood why people say this, especially when a specific athlete gets in trouble, its always "cut your hair". As if that will solve their issues. I thought you were being serious, but hey if your are kidding keep kidding on. BTW, its not a race card. I'm not painting Robbie to be some victim. It's more-so "WTF" type of reaction. They said the same thing to Kaepernick, oh you should cut your hair. Mangold didn't do anything wrong, so what does he have to do with this issue? I just never understood the context. I hear it a lot and I just find it to be dumb. Oh cut your hair to prove a point?
All the charges were dropped and he is being charged with reckless driving, a traffic ticket. Dash cam would show the speed if the officer was in persuit. The whole story never added up. The intersection can't be navigated at that speed and the distance from where the office observed him and where the stop was made is about 500 feet. At 100 mph, Robby would have rolled, at the reported 140 he would have gone straight into a concrete wall.
How do they stay in the police force after so many incidents, that is unbelievable, quite staggering really.
He had long hair and she wanted to also cut his hair, i think that was to show that she doesn't just hate long dreads on black men but long hair on men the world over, being a barbers daughter etc.
For what it's worth, Kaepernick has the biggest Jewish nose that I've ever seen. It just rattles my cage sometimes how PC we've become, where everyone rushes to conclusions about EVERYTHING. BTW, I am not the least bit PC, as you can probably tell. I hate that. A show like 'The Jeffersons' would be on the air for about 15 seconds during its first episode today (RIP Sherman Hemsley). Hemsley said nigger and honky so many times, I lost count. And yeah, people would burn down the TV Studio if 'All in the Family' ('The Jeffersons' precursor) was fielded now. People actually got mortally offended over that show because it painted white people in a bad light and other stereotypes about race in a bad light. Haha, both shows were about the idiocy of prejudice. People are way too sensitive sometimes for all of the wrong reasons. If we could laugh at each other more, things would improve exponentially. Racism is a real, extant, and shitty thing, but the colorful background that I grew up in? Please do point that finger at someone else. It's hard to have an honest dialogue about anything because people don't want to have an honest dialogue. It's gotten to the point where if you say something innocent and give a compliment along the lines of, "Hey, nice shirt. I like it!", it'll go like this: "So, what you're really trying to say is that every shirt that I've ever owned made me look like a piece of dogshit before I bought THIS shirt and that I never had any fashion sense! I HAVE FASHION SENSE! I grew up in Ft. Apache, the Bx in extreme poverty, and we lived on Saltines and marmalade! I'm not embarrassed that my shirts growing up were from Good Will. Yeah, I was able to AFFORD this shirt, you fukking bitch! No, I didn't steal it! Fukk you again, and I hope your entire family dies!" "Uhhhh, I was just saying that I thought your shirt looked pretty snappy." IMO, things have gone backwards in some ways, not forwards. It's all good, though. Have a nice evening.
Felony charges dropped. Still looking at misdemeanor and tickets and response from league. Also doesn’t erase the pattern of immaturity he has shown. And it is definitely not a non story, it’s part of his story and what he comes with and how’s that effects the Jets. Right now he I can barely be considered a reliable player for the future
What Sheldon got was pretty typical of first time offenders. Robbie’s problem is he has a pretty sketchy driving record already and wasn’t eligible for that kind of pre trial intervention. My guess now is he will cop to some misdemeanor and grab some probation and community service. Maybe lose his license for a while
