It has Leinert going to the Jets at 4 and Deangelo Williams at 29.. I am sure you want to know about the other guys like the Brick going to the Bills and Mario Williams going to the Saints, Vince Young to the Titans, Bush to the Texans and Vernon Davis to the 49ers.......

I dont like it. I dont want a QB at 4. No way, no matter who. What kind of BS comment is that, the Giants have Eli, the Jets nees a headliner... What do you call Curtis Martin, J Vilma? Such garbage, always trying to compete with the Giants. I do not want a QB, and I want Leinart least of the top 3. I like Deangelo, but I will be disappointed if this is our first round. I dont know Mangini, but I could never see Leinart playing for Belichek or Parcells.

you do know that a QB can be a solid player that contributes for now and a few years to come? that isn't a exclusive to any non-QB position.

uhm...headlining LB or over the hill RB hardly equate to a headlining QB. but thanks for playing.

We had a headlining QB, didnt you see the commercials with Eli and Chad playing catch over the Hudson, that worked out real well, and I am not sold on Eli yet either, I dont think he is anything special, especially not for what they gave up for him. Tiki/Shockey/now Arrington, or once upon a time, a guy named LT are bigger stars for the Giants than Peyton's little, not as good, brother. It is not worth it. and last I checked a headlining LB did pretty well for the Ravens, and just about any Bears team you want to pick.

    He is wrong this year.
What GM would invest another 50 mill in a QB when we already did that two years ago?
Too much money for guys that will be holding a clip board come September....

I just don't like Matt Leinart. I go for either Brodie Croyle or Kellen Clemens in the 2/3 rounds. I think we need more help on the OL. D'Brick would be a good choice.:jets:

If Williams fell to 29 I would be shocked, I have seen mocks with him at 12 or as high as 29 like this one. I dont think there is a player whose stock is so ambiguous as Deangelo

i would love that deangelo fall to 29, but i dont think it will happen. I doubt deAngelo will fall to 29 or that D'Brick will fall to buffalo. I dont think D'Brick will fall past the 49ers. I would personally prefer D'Brick over Leinart at 4. I really dont want to draft a qb at #4 no matter who is there. IMO, we shouldn't invest so much into the qb position. It's not worth it to have three potential starter qb's. We cant expect the same thing to happen last year with our qb's.

I'd be extremely disappointed if that was our 1st round. We are 2-3 deep at QB and RB. We NEED a playmaker, a NT, a RT, and a OC. We have no real playmakers, and our current NT, RT, and OC players are (or should be) career backups.

If the draft falls this way, either stay at #4 and draft a playmaker (Hawk, Davis) or trade down and grab a NT (Ngata, Watson) or RT (Justice). At #29 pick a RT (Winston) or OC (Mangold).
