This may be the reason Rhodes said he wanted to not just beat them, but embarrass them.

 

It took 3 pages before anyone read the thread properly 2 years ago, now the same ying yangs are getting fired up about it all over again! LOL

BB NEVER said he doesn't like Rhodes. Peter king said he'd rank Rhodes high even IF BB said he wouldn't start him. Sheeeeeiiiit!

In fact, Belichik has praised Rhodes on more than one occasion. That's why he said on twitter last week that BB knows he's more talented than Rodney.

Cimini is garbage. I'm in favor of bumping any thread that highlights that basic truth.

Bingo... I hate to keep agreeing with you but when your correct I have no choice... this morbid facsination with all things Patriots is somewhat sick.. we beat them and honestly I've gotten it all out of the system and won't think about beating them until mid November. I just hope the Jets players move on quicker than some of the people on this board otherwise we're gonna get waxed on Sunday.

 

I think when the Jets kept it to a one score game at the half, that made all the difference.

Also, the jets made the right adjustments at half and all the big plays in the 2nd half.

Clearly, the Jets wanted this game more.

I do think you'll see a more cohesive Pats offense and better defense next time around.

But neither team really can afford to look that far ahead, the Pats have a freight train called the falcons heading their way... and the jets face a Titans team that should be in a very bad mood.
