No, he doesn't get another year, unless you want another 8-8 year next year, which is exactly what we would get, if not worse.
Nobody wanted Geno, we just got him. Just like we just got Sanchez. Two almost-floaters that sunk to the bottom of the bowl. They are both shit.
not you specifically Byz, but these whoremongers in general...AND NO, sanchez was undervalued vis-a-vis schitty...And then there's the Cro factor...one good corner allowing help to be rolled to the other side...how does that secondary look now?
Oh some wanted Sanchez when he was drafted and by the time he was let go MANY wanted to get rid of him. The latter felt and probably still feel that ANYONE would be better. So by default wanted Geno.
What's the point of firing Rex now. This team is not beating Denver or the Pats as currently constituted no matter who the coach is. Might as well let Rex finish out the year and then fire him after 4-12. Both Rex AND Idzik should be out the door though, Idzik's negligence was borderline criminal.
Imagine Sanchez under center. He'd be dead by now. And Winters would be up on charges for domestic abuse.
If you read the post of mine you originally replied to, you'd know what I'm talking about, but I guess I should spell it out. I laid out a scenario, and asked specifically what people thought would be the result of that particular scenario. I specifically said I didn't need answers exactly like the one you gave, but said I knew some douche would reply that way anyway. So, congratulations for being that guy, that supremely predictable poster.
Why in the world would rex be fired? he is one of the few positives for us. with another coach this defense is giving up 40+ points a game. rex has his flaws but he is an above average coach. you can only do so much with bottom 5 talent
This is true but is that Rex's fault? I get that he is the HC and that it ultimately falls on him but what has he been give to work with? Not much if you ask me.
