A dinner or a weekend retreat most likely won't fix shit. Does anybody here really believe if Holmes isn't getting his touches, or if Sanchez is playing poorly next year, all will magically be well? Credit to them for trying, but when the going gets tough, Holmes will be Holmes.
No, I don't fucking agree. We don't need to keep opening our mouths to the press, everything needs to stay in fucking house and should have been in house since the McElroy comments. This is becoming fucking ridiculous. Like why do you need to tell the press that these two are planning to spend time together? Who fucking cares? Just be vague, say that shit will be fixed without too much detail and be done with it. I love Rex but he blows my fucking mind. There are times he should be loud and blunt and he chooses to play nice, and then there are times where he should be vague and play it off but then chooses to dish like a fucking teenage girl.
when i read things like this i feel like this team is a bunch of bitchy women and rex is the queen bitch. its really annoying to hear him talk this way. id like to hear him say you know what these guys are going to figure it out however they do it or they are going to be sitting on the bench all season or released. have some balls rex and your team might grow some too. whoever said its like a reality show it really is headed in that direction.
The one thing I absolutely LOVE about Rex is he ain't afraid to talk about his team, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I swear to God there are ppl on this site that would prefer the Hoodie's "No Comment" or Mangini's paranoia giving out ZERO information on ANYTHING, not even letting the assistant coaches talk to the media. PLEASE REX....keep it coming. You are the best thing that's happened around here in a long, long time.
Personally I couldn't care less. This is a total non story. So they're getting started on trying to address the locker room rifts of let season. Is that a big surprise or something? All that matters is what happens on the field come September. Until then people can talk about whatever the hell they want and it doesn't matter.
