Shonne has clearly been the better back in the last 12+ games. Yet, he only got limited touches near the goal line. I'd be pissed too if I had outplayed a player and not get the ball at the one. You are right, its the playoffs. That leaves no excuse such as earning the right to carry the ball. The more effective ball carrier should get it, regardless of ones resume. However, LT had a great game against the Colts and had outplayed Shonne. Shonne also had a nice game, but LT was a touch better than Shonne. So the argument could be made either way. When you are at the 1, either of the back is good. I don't need to say why LT is good at goal line situations. He's done it effectively for almost a decade. As for Shonne, he's the power back. He can move the pile and thats the kind of back you want when you are at the one. He'll hit the hole with power. If theres no hole, he'll push the pile. A great player to have. I like that hunger though. Maybe it'll motivate him to get in from 40 yards out so he wouldn't have to worry about "earning respect".
Well you probably don't recognize him. He was in Pulp Fiction, dressed in a leather outfit with a leather mask.
Like I said, I don't have the play taped to rewatch... I only vaguely recall it. I was only trying to point out when they are considered in bounds, versus out of bounds. Everything worked out in the end - thankfully!
