Maybe he'll be a candidate for the Titans who are dumping Jeff Fisher.

What Schein said was very obvious. Rex has been calling us ground and pound team for two years now. Having a rookie QB to teach will make u a ground and pound team. And yes, Schotty wants to pass much more often than we do. Thats why I think his style of offense will be very useful to us next year when Sanchez would take that junior year QB leap hopefully. We will eventually evolve into team that passes more than it throws. We'll see how the off season plays out, but if we bring back both the FA WRs, we will definitely start passing a little bit more each of the next couple of years when Sanchez would hopefully be playing at an elite level.

Good Coaches adjust the schemes to fit what’s best for the team. Look at Rex obviously the formula was not working so he adjusted the defense. Take a look at the Pats they struggled early and they changed the entire style of offense.

What was the excuse for Shotty prior to Rex getting here? It was probably Manginis fault that the Offense was inconsistent at best. Good coaches utilize the hand that they are dealt. This offense had as many weapons as any team in the NFL unfortunately you would never think it because our offense fell asleep for entire games and usually waited until the third quarter to come out of the locker room.

We are all obviously going to have different opinions on this. However, I would like to say that I never blame coaches. My number one passion is coaching football and I have done it long enough to know that you cannot be successful without the correct pieces in place. Shotty had the pieces this year and he failed as the OC.

I am not a Farve fan but does anyone remember how baffled he was that Shotty asked him in key spots what he thought the team should run? He did the same crap with our second year QB in Indy. I do not care if it worked out or not this is evidence that he is way over his head.

It seems obvious to me that Schotty, for all his motion and shifts and trickery, is not dictating the defense the other guy must play. Good OCs put the defense into situations they do not want to be in. NE does this all the time. very few teams have any defensive success against them. I actually believe if NE had a real running game they would be unstoppable. The Jets ignored their running attack last game. The Pats are matchup fixated. It is effective for them. Schotty is system fixated.. He is going to run his stuff. 'Nuff said.

in playoffs....you only got 60 minutes to think and play your BEST FOOTBALL..thats it!......when you review the O calls by schotty its just too obvious he cant make very good situational gamecalls ,, and this is not going to change IMO he is the weak link....to play 17 games and NEED those great calls while playing top tier teams ,,,unfortunatley thats the difference......sorry to keep talking the same shit but its sickening that Rex/Woody cant see it
