so i am watching the holiday bowl and across the bottom 100 times already is a headline about rex cleaning out his desk.

this is what i hate about rex, its always dramatic... and i realize its probably not his fault entirely on this one. BUT similar things have been said in the past and he didnt need to be the drama queen and start packing up his stuff till monday when they show him the door.

    very over dramatic and egotistical.

He should have cleaned out his desk after the bye week; just after Buffalo cleaned his clock on a neutral playing field. Then all this drama would be irrelevant. The Texans owner did this stuff right last year when he had enough, why wait when your search can start sooner.

It's not an excuse. Rex has his faults and it's one of the reasons he will be gone, but I am seriously asking, who was it who picked the OC's throughout his tenure? I can't say I'm a big Mornighweg fan and let's not even mention Sparano. I just want to know who picked the OC's throughout Rex's tenure.

rex had schotty forced on him when he got here. pretty sure sparano was his call and i have to assume morningwood was too.

notice the trend of underlings being forced on guys coming in. only the jets do stuff like that.

Sparano was a Parcells/Tannenbaum move. No idea who picked Marty, but I will assume it was Idzik thinking he could turn Geno into a Donovan McNabb clone.

So you for some reason think that the NY media spewing garbage is on Rex and his ego? Good thing you aren't a Jets fan. You'd never make it.

Does he need any help cleaning out his desk? Someone to carry boxes? A ride to the airport? If there's anything I can do to help him get out of here, let me know. I'll do it happily for no charge.

Funny.......but, if you hang out with Rex in a few years, you can help him carry his Lombardi trophies back to Falcons headquarters. He probably will get his first with the Falcons next year as their new HC, and then a couple more in the years to come. You can help him polish those trophies.

Know what? I have complete confidence that this will not be the case. In fact, it's the most confident I've been about anything. Ever.

The only Lombardi Rex is getting, is one of the little mini ones you can get on ebay for $10.
