Maybe not, but his attempts at being a head coach in the NFL certainly have.

His shits probably take more time and attention than this. Should he hold his ass until Sunday night so he can be totally focused on the game?

In doing stuff like this Rex acts like a child and in turn his players don't have respect for him as an authority figure, he brings himself down to the level of court jester.
It's great for the media and sound bites on ESPN, but as far as striking fear or commanding accountability , Rex does neither.
I'm tired of the sideshow mentality , I want to restore respectability to this organization.
It's pretty sad when the biggest asshat on the team is the HC.

That's not what the Jets players told me. So which of us are lying? Or are we both?

Mine is an opinion , not a fact.
Players are obviously going to talk up Rex and fight for him to keep his job, wouldn't you?
Who wants to have to tow the line and be held accountable for their actions when the could eat a bag of McDonalds hamburgers at practice and watch their coach on SportsCenter making stupid jokes ?

No, an opinion is something that is not verifiable. You can support it with facts but it doesn't make it a fact itself.

You made a statement of fact -- that his players don't respect him. That can be verified as either true or false and is not an opinion.

You made a claim about what the players think. That is the farthest thing from an opinion.

Like Rex has been blathering since last winter: "This is the closest, most together, team he's ever been associated with."

Good thing for them, them being 1-6 and all....I'm so touched by the love

    lol

    haha

    In this thread:

People who already didn't like Rex: "Wow, he's doing this while we're 1-6? It's not funny when the Jets suck"
People who continue to like Rex: "No big deal; it's just Rex's personality."

Regardless of your opinion, I hope we can all agree this this story is virtually irrelevant to how the Jets play against the Bills this weak.

No it doesn't. Claiming a statement of fact is an opinion doesn't make it an opinion it makes the person declaring it an idiot.

that's an opinion, even though it can be supported by facts to strengthen it.
