Rex Ryan will have the opportunity to interview for the HC job in Baltimore. I don't see him staying there if he's interviewed and doesn't get the job (sound familiar?)
You are not giving Ryan a fair shake. His problems in Oakland, as will be any coach that comes in there that is not named Parcells, Bellichek, or Ditka, is that the inmates run the asylum...Sapp, Burgess,Warren, Gallery, Porter. Each one is a bigger ass than the other... He worked with Belichek and Mangini and his Dad has forgotten more about Defense then probably both of them ever knew....Sign him ASAP...He would also probably bring with him a top tier FA corner back in Asomugha.

Where there is smoke there is fire. I am sure Sutton is a goner. If one of the Ryans are available bring them on. It does not matter which one. They will bring fire and a more aggressive approach that was sorely lacking for long stretches of this season. (mainly in the beginning)
Lane Kiffin is expected to fire Rob Ryan If Kiffin fires defensive coordinator Rob Ryan as expected, that's a major hire to make. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/01/01/SP2BU7HO1.DTL
Rex will probably get the Raven HC job. I doubt there is a relationship between him and Mangini personally.
Thanks for doing your homework, AlToon. Good catch! Mangini and Rob Ryan are very close friends. Who knows, it may already be a done deal.
I need to see Sutton go first. I sort of think he will, and it should be by the end of this week if it is going to happen.
