They're not frauds, at all. They're a pretty good football team.

Welcome aboard... I really love watching the Saints. I am so excited for this game. I root for them as long as they aren't playing the Jets. This could be one of the best games of the year. It's a shame it has to share the weekend with Burt vs the Packers because you and I both know this one is much more intriuging than some 40 year old duechbag that is holding a grudge for some unknown reason. Unfortunately we both know which one is going to get all the attention.

When it's 35 to 7 in the 4th qtr...playing the prevent defense is good sportsmanship.

Any closer and it's just dumb.

Honestly, just keep doing what we're doing: live and die by the blitz. It's worked in 3 games so far. Never let Brees get into a comfort zone, he'll carve us up otherwise.

Hope Rex has something crazy in store for him

Anybody who says the Saints are frauds is nuts... it's essentially the same group of offensive guys who went to the NFC Title game 3 years ago. They now a healthy Shockey and a decent run game. They are scary ... I just don't know if our offense can keep up. It's going to take a great effort by our D to win this game. It's ok if they don't though as they'll just punish Miami if they lose.

Good article. Rex will dial up some good schemes come sunday and if our players execute the way they should we can be in the backfield harassing brees all day.

Thats the smartest post I've read so far.

I would also add that our D is tremendously better than 2006, Payton has matured as a coach, in his first 3 years, he forced the pass regardless of what the D was doing. Now he will run the ball if the D is repeatedly playing nickel while we are in the base, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 Fb, 1 RB.

I also think this will be a great game and am looking forward to seeing how the Saints will handle you guys D.

no prevent this year....i have loved his 60 minute aggressive defensive play calling. So sick of the bend don't break D we have played the last several years.

    totally agree rich...
the aints have the best offensive talent in football, bar none. so naturally i have a bad feeling about this game...our D is good, very good, but no D is good enough to shut these guys down on the carpet in the dome when they are clicking on all cyls....

i think we can score some points but the ? is how much and will it be enough....

its not a terrible match up for the jets - if we were year 2 or 3 into the sanchez era i would be much more confident - i think it may be too early to go up against this kind of team on the road.
