Well hey, it was coherent enough to piss you off to a point that you couldn't put together a constructive retort, other than grammar nazi'ing the post. Actually, it'd be more of a "usage" Nazi. Nonetheless, I'm laying in bed on an iPhone, I'm not overly concerned about either. Point was made that shit happens to everyone, and it went both ways for the jets, so its absurd to say that "we could have been x-x if....".

I haven't heard any bitchin, Merling, fergie, and Edds being injured is not going to hurt as much as some might think.... were deep....Starks and Solaii got that position, Odrick is having a monster camp, exclusively working against big Jake, and holding his own, he would of started over Merling, and Edds is a 4th round pick...we have no excuses....

They didn't beat us we beat ourselves.
That is where we are going to see whether this team has what it takes to win it all and be special. We have to beat the teams we are clearly better than.

I was at that first game and unfortunately their offense beat the heck out the Jets defense. I think the heat was a huge factor for both teams as it was a sauna and both D's were awful....theirs less so. They, by all rights, deserved that game just as much if not more.....

I think the fish are potentially better than the steelers, pats and titans.

We beat ourselves in the first game by not preparing for the pussycat.

That loss is on Rex. He obviously learned from it because in the second game the pussycat went nowhere.

can't wait to see what your Top 5 draft pick from last year Vernon, hold the edge on that pussy cat.....

Wildcat is not going anywhere, ronnie has been in the cat during camp, and has been throwing more quick passes than usual.....It's funny to me that you think because you stopped it a couple of times that you don't have to worry about it anymore....hopefuly your whole team feels that way...

Do they give lessons on not paying attention in FL?

Where did I say the Jets don't have to worry about the pussycat anymore?

As a matter of fact I believe I said the opposite. When the jets didn't worry about it they got killed.

    Please keep up.

Yeah, I can't wait to see your second round pick from last year, Pat White, not be able to do the one thing he was drafted to do. Or is that he wants to be a baseball player now? You can say anything you want about VG, but he was a consensus top 10 pick, Pat White was basically a 6th round pick for anybody dumb enough to draft him, your 'Trifecta' wasted a second round pick on him...

awww you are just mad that Pat White has had more playing time than Gholston ... he's probably got almost as many sacks too

PW has certainly disappointed. I'd much rather have Thigpen then White, and I wouldn't be surprised if White were not on this team come opening day.

A couple of times? The Jets shut that shit down in the second game. Your team could not do anything until the Amazing Ginn saved their asses for the second time.

I really hope that the Phins use a lot of wildcat, I'd love to read the angry threads on Finheaven complaining that they still use it too much.

honestly neither team could do much until Ginn broke the game open. After than JT returned the fumble, and the following possession you guys went 3 and out and it was 17-6. It was lookin like a route because Sanchez looked lost as he walked to the sideline

... then Bess fumbles the punt return and breathes life into you guys, and you guys catch fire. Our D lived upto the reputation as being the worst 4th quarter D in the nfl last year too

I disagree, the pats, bengals, and titans are better, and heres why.

the titans w/young starting were 8-2 last season, and they have improved.

the bengals won a tough division, and they have improved.

the patriots didnt improve much, but they still have a lot of talent, and they are the defending div.champs.

    I disagree...

The Titans lost some talent this year. The game in which they beat the Dolphins, Chris Johnson had one of his worst games (by his standards), and Vince Young had a career day. The game was damn close, and Henne threw a pick to lose it even with VY having one of his best games ever. The Fins have improved MUCH more than the Titans..

I don't know who's better between Miami and Cinci...Cinci isn't overrated, they're underrated. They swept that division last year, and quietly had the (4th?) best defense in the league last year. Now they've added to the offense and C-benz is going into a contract year.

Until the Patriots lose the division with Brady starting, they're better than the Dolphins and Jets.

so you only disagree about the titans, remember young was 8-2 last season, and he is way over .500 for his career.

they also have the best offensive player in the game.
