the actual question isnt bad, she just asked the completely wrong person

ive heard a lot of my friends say that they changed their opinion on goodell after seeing the way he carried himself at the draft

Do you think if Santonio offers to hug it out with Goodell, he might cut his suspension to only two games?

Rex said Vlad is working at guard.. and is learning a new stance and new position, since he played LT in college.

It's a rookie minicamp, where he's playing today doesn't mean much, especially since he will definitely not be playing LT for the Jets. He'll compete for the LG spot, but I am gambling that Slauson wins out in TC.

"Jason Taylor is gonna help close out games, pass rushing in the 4th quarter, that's how you win games." - MikeHoncho

Good luck with that one.... if there was one thing JT could never do in his time in Miami, it was close out games.

He was always one of those guys that is great in quarters 1-3 and disappears in the 4th.

As long as you guys don't depend on him to do ANYTHING in the 4th quarter you should be ok.

The major difference in this defense is that he won't be the only guy on the D. He's about the 5th or 6th guy and the game will never fully rest on his shoulders like it did in Miami.

    Jets defense >>>> Dolphins defense.

Say what you want about defenses, but JT, in his prime, was about 10x more effective than he is now, and would always fold under pressure.

Any of you recall those 'great' Dolphin defenses that would always fold under pressure? Ya they were LOADED with pro bowlers from the DL to the secondary and they couldn't get it done. JT was hardly alone then but he was definitely a leader and never got it done.

You honestly think Ducasse was drafted to play left tackle? Give me a break, man.

There's been numerous reports about Vlad competing with Matt Slauson for the left guard spot.

First day of camp of course he's going to play LT want to see his play in a position he feels comfortable in before moving him to guard where of course he's going to be off his game.

I was thinking would it be better/safer to Sanchez if we moved Woody into guard and let Vlad learn the game at RT?

Well unlike the Dolphins, we have Taylor here to be a part time player, because we are loaded on defense and don't need him to be an every down star player like the Dolphins did.

He will play sporadically in certain situations, he will stay fresh, and he will help in 4th quarters, just like Rex wants him to do.

I don't know why Pocono thought anything different. Rex even said that he was playing LG today in his press conference. Something like- "Vlad is learning a new stance, he is learning a new position- he'll be playing left guard for us"
