Revis to Play - 100%

Revis' performance in the second half tonight is the last straw. The holdout, the giant contract, the hamstring pull, and now his inability to cover Harvin better be the end. He's being outplayed by DREW FUCKING COLEMAN. I'm not a darksider but the discrepancy between his performance last season and now is huge. It would help if he stopped talking shit too. To think I'm wearing his jersey as I type this...

 

Sure, but Harvin is nearly impossible to play one on one with his elusiveness and how easy the quick slant is in the NFL to complete. Revis did well most of the game on him.

Besides, if our offense had managed to execute all game, particularly in the red zone, we wouldn't even be discussing Revis.

This was bound to happen with the rain. I've pulled my hamstring running track, and you become extremely tentative running on a wet track during recovery. You slip even more on grass. I wouldn't be worried about Revis at all.

 

calm the fuck down...He still did a great job for 3+ quarters. Just got beat by Harvin on slants.

The dude is a douche for holding out and is getting burned right now for this...But he is a defensive playmaker that was killer early on

He Played at about 50-60 % Tonight.

 

It's really hard to watch him lollygag after a guy makes a catch and runs into the endzone.

 

1050 just reported that Revis' hammy is sore and swollen. He may miss the Denver game.

Revis is a great player when healthy but it really is annoying what happened this season.

Missed preseason, shows up for game 1 & is a non-factor because he stays only on one side of the field while Boldin is lighting up the Jets on the other side. Then he smack talks Moss & only plays a half & reaches for his hammy on Moss TD. Then calls Moss a quitter which I felt knocked Cromartie's efforts in the second half. Comes back today & is not looking so great in the 4th quarter.

All this holding out demanding to be the highest paid CB in the NFL & then he's only spent 2 quarters this season covering an elite WR. Makes me wish the Jets can pull back some of this $$ he's held out for as compensation for not bringing it as an elite CB so far.

Revis is a great defender when healthy but he is annoyng as hell this season. Just shutup w/ the comments until you can spend some time on the field actually shutting down a WR yourself. Trash talking is for those who can back it up.
