Dude..get a grip. That long ball to Collie, would have been an INT or INC by EVERY OTHER QB in the league....He hit him, in stride on the hands 40 yards downfield 6 inches over Coleman, and in front of the safety....(who should have made a play...)
yes, I'm sure it never occurred to any of the other teams we played this year to go after every other member of the secondary prior to seeing Indy do it. I'd hate to have a mind that concludes because Indy simply was more succesful at it that no other team did it before them. how sad.
i thought that the gameplans were to take advantage of revis and avoid the 2 and 3  but seriously slants and in routes killed strickland and lowery and lito. they sucked in man coverage. Im suprised they weren't killed more often this season.
I'm afraid that the way the Colts stopped the run, that teams next year are going to load the box and force us to pass, because nobody did that before Sunday when the Colts succeeded at it.
The Jets scheme baits QBs to throw it to Revis, we'll be fine. Peyton manning tears up every secondary.
I can't believe there is actually a thread contemplating the idea that no team we face will throw to their #1 receiver as being a detriment. Rex Ryan was able to disguise a constantly injured secondary, the loss of a Pro Bowl NT, and inconsistent safety play... ... and translate that into the #1 overall defense for close to half a season, and run deep into the playoffs, all the while compensating for a learning rookie quarterback. AFC Championship? Are you fucking kidding me? If we get a solid complement to Revis at 2CB and a dynamic pass rusher across from Pace and a healthy young (and big-bodied) nose tackle - nobody will score a touchdown on us. Rex is simply that good.
By the way, before I opened this thread, the thread title had me thinking about Revis' contract and not how teams will play against us. Because he has the same agent as Chris Baker and Pete Kendall, that could be a problem.
The Patriots have had our number on this for awhile. This is not a new concept, remeber Brady to Welker?
