Thank God Revis signed, all the BS is over now, everyone's on the same page and we can get on with the season in 1 piece, cannot wait for next Monday night!!!!
I was just on fin heaven reading up on some revis threads and it is funny how they all assume that they will beat us twice again this year. They did last year, but I really don't think that will happen again this year.
They beat us last year because Faneca decided to display the blocking power of SPF 1 sunscreen on the last drive, and then from freak special teams plays. It won't happen again this year.
It's funny over on Finheaven. They say the Jets will suck this year because their offense didn't look great in preseason, and then they say how LT sucks because preseason doesn't mean anything. They also assume that Sanchez is the 90th best QB in the NFL when they fail to realize that he is better than Henne even at this younger stage in his career. Then they talk about Brandon Marshall the robot and how Revis won't even be able to prevent one throw from being caught by him. Is it Week 3 yet?
Revis got a nice deal on this. How many players get 75% of their contract guaranteed? Additionally, remember when people were saying that Revis would get 30 million or so guaranteed for a 120 million dollar contract? $32 on $46 don't look all that bad does it?
They think they are beating us twice because Mark Sanchez is our QB. They seem to forget that Chad "I'm only decent in meaningless games" Henne is theirs.
Haha Sal Paolantonio just reported Mangold started a "Revis Christ" chant when Revis came out. TGG IS FAMOUS!!!
I said it in the Midnight service thread, at somepoint this offseason, but somebody should make a Revis Christ poster for Monday night! Stinky B's picture, coupled with a short sermon, I think that would be the best shit possible. Can you imagine the national media coverage that sign would get? The media loves controversial crap, so this would be perfect! besides we need to spread the word of our savior! Darrellujah!
