Clinging to the little things now? Going to go celebrate your 16-0 season now too? Since Rex got here, since that brought a new HC and QB, the Jets and Patriots have not accomplished the goal of every NFL team. The Patriots got closer one year, the Jets the other two, but neither accomplished it. You guys are set up good because Brady is healthy, the Jets are in limbo, but neither have accomplished the goal. In fact the last 3 years, Jets 4-2 and Patriots 2-3 in the playoffs and both with 0 super bowls.
I happen to agree with everything you said. My post was a response to SG3 claiming the Jets are 3-4 against the Pats in their last 7 meetings. Not sure how he thinks that a significant accomplishment.
Well its an improvement from getting swept by you guys year in and year out. Rex has proved his defense can slow the Patriots down which many teams have trouble doing, our offense on the other hand has not been too great and too inconsistent to help the defense. Division games are very important too so that adds into it.
and, of course, Brady is on the 17th fairway of the back nine of his career Welcome to the Ryan "Leaf" Mallett era and the return of the Patri***ts to their normal spot in the basement of the division for decades
some people are so dumb that they still respond despite seeing this.... This message is hidden because PatsFanTX is on your ignore list. must be a Texas thing
People around the league may think Bill is an effective HC (although I tend to give more of the credit in NE to Brady who, like him or not, and I sure don't, you have to acknowledge is one of the very best Qb's in the last fifteen years). But you have to either acknowledge or willfully ignore that he has an aberrant personality. I don't call him Psycho Bill for nothing. What other job could he do? He's lucky he found his calling, and then had Brady fall into his lap.
I hate pats fans and I have to live with you guys day in and day out. You sit on this high horse where your pats are the best and nothing else anyone does is right if it isn't the patriot way. You guys are righteous clowns who haven't seen their team do anything in 10 years but still like to give jets fans crap about their team not being the patriots. Guess what take your super bowls and shove them. As much as last year sucked beign a jets fan i would never wish I rooted for a team of pompous aholes who think they are the best and their fans follow suit. Enjoy the season and trolling a Jets message board. I know we won't see you on here in February.
Are you serious??????? Just in the last 10 years: Most wins of any team in the NFL 8 AFCE championships 5 AFC conference championships 3 Super Bowl wins
The SB wins are tainted by Spygate and Walt Coleman. The thing that gets me about blowhard Pats fans is that ninety percent of them didn't even know what a football looked like before 2001.
Wrong. Only two of the superbowls the Patriots cheated to win are within the last 10 years. You can subtract 1 from the other two totals as well. Those cheated superbowl wins are fading in the rearview mirror as quickly as the end of Brady's career is approaching.
That might have been the case in Rex's first 2 year's but the Jet defense wasn't much of a challenge last season in both games. What makes you think it will be THAT much better this year?
If you can't beat 'em... well I guess you gotta wait until they retire then. On a different note, relax dude. It's just football. You can add me to your ignore list now. Actually... The Jets and their fans weren't even on Pats' fans radar until Rex came to town and started talking. No offense, but I think it was only considered a rivalry south of CT prior to then. We were far more concerned with the main obstacles for New England - the Colts, the Steelers, maybe the Chargers. The Jets had that nice win against NE in 2006, but you know as well as I do there wasn't much competition there for several years. I just think it's kind of hilarious - given the amount of talk that's come from your team in the past three seasons - how indignant some Jets fans are over the alleged "suck my dick" comment that was made entirely off the record. Yet Cromartie calls Brady an asshole during an interview, and he's innocent. Wow.
You are a sad and pathetic loser if that's all you got. FYI - The policy memo that the Pats ignored and were punished for, was issued in 2006 or 07. Nothing the Pats did in 2001, 2003, and 2004, was either against league rules or against any policy issued by the league office. So please explain exactly how the Pats "cheated" in those wins? So your pathetic rant only continues to prove that the Jets systemic ineptitude for the last 43 seasons had caused their own fans to become whiney little b!tches, whose only recourse is to attempt to belittle and diminish their BETTERS.
The team who has players and coaches talking more than anyone in recent history are getting offended by something Belichick allegedly (1 ny post reporter, at a home game in ny "heard it") muttered (under his breath, to his son) "37 points on the best defense in football? suck my dick". Pot. Kettle. Black.
Hopefully Rex taking more playcalling duties on defense, and a better roster to work with (barring injuries). Also, some more time to try and figure out the best way to stop those two TEs.
Actually its the FANS who are pompous assholes. The team and its players and coaches are simply hard working, talented guys who optimize the adage "the sum being greater than the individual parts" So if you want to spew venom on Pats fans, I can see your point and respect it. The last 15 or so years has seriously spoiled us. But please don't take it out on the guys who play the game. they are by an large a pretty humble lot.
It's a well known fact that the Patriots cheated when they won the superbowl, I don't need to explain or defend that. Of course Patriots fans will TRY to defend those titles as legitimate until the end of time and of course they will continue to be wrong. The Pats have never won a legit superbowl and neither has Brady. It's also a fact that the Patriots have not won a superbowl since they were caught cheating. Coincidence? I think not. The Brady led Pats were 10-3 in games decided by 3 points or less during there tainted superbowl runs and are 10-8 in such games since spygate. Coincidence? I think not. How many points is knowing your opponents defensive signals worth? Seems like it's somewhere around 3. I would recommend you refrain from name calling on here. I'm sure if I went to the Patriots forum and called a mod a pathetic loser I would be banned for life.
