being brash and smacktalk is one thing...sportsmanship, pointing to a sideline and saying pats can suck my dick are another. obviously a concept beyond your comprehension.
Yeah, because they weren't 6 games better than us or anything. It was because we were to cocky. Sheesh, this place is a fucking Mensa meeting.
not really... the jets were too cocky last year...which resulted and contributed in the pats being 6 games better including a 2 game sweep.
Eh... I'm not sure why Revis cares. The only thing that's hypocritical is that Belicheck is considered some classy NFL Yoda when he's as brash and cocky as anyone. Rex gets all the crap but that's only because he says it when the cameras are on. I don't see anything wrong with the behavior no matter which coach it comes from.
Yeah, but he should set an example for everybody else and not say anything. Someone's gotta do it, because again, this team needs to shut up and start winning. If they don't, then they'll continue to be a bunch of classless clowns who do nothing but be the Patriots' bitches.
The leadership on the defense seems fine to me. Talent breeds respect and there are plenty of guys over there with talent. The reason the Jets can't beat the Pats is because of the offense doesn't have talent at key positions where leaders are needed. There's nothing Revis can say to fix the offense. I mean, I'm sure he's respected in the locker room but he's no Ronnie Lott, and even Lott had only so much influence on the 49er offense.
Who considers Belichik classy? He gets ripped for not shaking hands the right way, and for being a dick in post game interviews. You just invented that people consider him that so you can bitch about something.
Perhaps classy is the wrong word but Belicheck is widely respected around the league, like him or not. And either way I'm not bitching about anything. I was pointing out a double standard.
"all those beatings" the SOJFs keep repeating.... Then you look at the actual record since rex The jerk and the gayboy...4 The Jets..... 3 Including the only postseason meeting in which the Jets made them both s..k their d..ks 28-21 in front of 70000 booing drunken chowd frontrunners Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
3 of the last 7 including assblasting them out of the playoffs the only time we met in the last 3 seasons is more than "once" Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
I'm sitting here reading this board and finally someone with a little sense. You all weigh last year way too much. When it comes to the pats, rex, sanchez, and jets as a whole They have beaten the pats every year but last year. They clearly played like crap all year. Sanchez has been to 2 afc championship games and the jets have given us the best 3 years as jets fans we have ever seen so enough already with the hate. This team will come back this year fired up. Sanchez will take that next step and stick it to everyone of you haters and pats fans that fall into that media trap. Rex is rex and will have them ready to play.
plus 10 million but, let's face it, despite the great efforts of Rex the last 3 seasons, the best 3 year record (including postseason) in Jet franchise history and two trips to the Conference Championship game there are still way to many Joe Benignoramus SOJFs out there whose only love is to wallow in their "40+years of misery" rant
Jets fans somehow don't remember that Belichick once benched one of his best players, Wes Welker, for being publicly disrespectful toward Rex Ryan, who incidentally had by then spent two years publicly tweaking Belichick. It was the biggest game of the year, but Belichick went without Welker at the beginning of that playoff game because that's how seriously he takes these things. Years ago, he cut another player, Steve Martin, for talking about another Jet -- well, actually an ex-Jet by then, Kevin Mawae, who at the time was playing for Tennessee. Martin called Mawae a dirty player, and Belichick was so pissed, he released him. Belichick and Brady may in fact be assholes -- as a Pats fan, I'd actually be kind of disappointed if they weren't -- but one thing they don't do is talk about their opponents in the media. Fortunately for all of us (it gives us something to do before the games start), the Jets talk enough for both sides.
Our defense couldn't get the stops we needed in games last year. I mean, all the "Ground'n'Pound" bullish!t? Tipping point of last season was definitely the final drive from our first loss to the Pats. They ran the Law Firm down our throats and bled us for four-plus yards each time. Our defense is good, but that's the side of the ball where we need leaders. Revis leads by example on the field... off the field? Not so much...
right where this clown belongs.... This message is hidden because Bills Over Jets is on your ignore list.
