Ronde Barber can't comprehend it because he gets picked on so much.

Better than Deion? Better than Woodson? Someone needs to take a reality check. He's playing great, but please. He is not in their league yet. Someday maybe.

We realize that. No one is saying he's the greatest of all time at 25 years of age or however old he is. It's hard to argue against him being in the running if he keeps it up for 5 more seasons though.

No game changing plays? Taking a teams leading WR threat who normally manages 80-110 yards and 1-2 TD a game to ONE YARD is not game changing? Makes you wonder whose c#ck you gotta blow to get some respect. :breakdance:

It doesn't piss me off, although I see the injustice in it. It makes me happy. Because if there's any player on the team that I want to play with a bigger chip on his shoulder, it's Revis.

Most people are all about the flashy stats. INTs, Sacks, etc... But I'll take the negation of the opponents #1 WR over all the flashy stats in the world any day of the week! We know he's not the greatest of all time. Yet ;) But damn, if he keeps removing WRs from play like he has been... well, then anyone who can't see how impressive that is needs to open their eyes...

NO STATS! Revis is a Dick!

Cimini, King, and Barber are all in the same Fantasy football league. That's why Jets get no respect.

an Ahl wohrld CB with 0 INTs
    QB no stats
No WR with gobs of stats
A duo of RBs that split carriers and TDs.

So no the Jets suck from a fantasy perspective and that's why these fuck faces in the media pick against them.

Peter King provided the email to send requests in to have him removed from voting.

It was brought up on twitter because he has Devin McCourty All-Pro over Revis this year.

Revis probably has 100 yds thrown against him all year.......he IS the best player in the NFL IMO unequivocally .....no one is that dominant either side of the ball

He's not a play maker? I'd say limiting their best wr to having no impact is a pretty big play.

Revis had plenty of INTs and a few TDs/near TDs last season when he was actually thrown at

Aqib Talib is NOT ANYWHERE NEAR Revis' realm. DIAF, Ronde Barber.

Its kind of difficult to get ints when nobody throws the ball in your direction. as for comparisons to retired greats - w/e - just being discussed w/other great players is great. its one thing to compare running backs or qbs but when you start talking about cbs who are so good they are never thrown to - its pretty difficult imo to develop meaningful performance metrics and differentiation. Obvious DR is a GREAT CB. He owns everybody he covers and they rarely get thrown to. He excels in this defense, he's an all pro performer. If you think Sanders/woodson was way better - great for you.
