What position do you play for the Jets? I would love to know more about the lockerroom dynamic that the public like me don't get to see. You can PM if you don't want to give away who are you to everyone.
Really on NFL32? Because on his Sportscenter interview he said he'd take a more vocal leadership role with Mangold.
Isn't it just about time for Revis to holdout for more money again? I think that is all this off-season is missing at this point. :breakdance:
You know what might also help? If somewhere between here and things going south, that he learned how to be a real QB.
Yeah, I have to agree that the Broncos locker room had a huge rift as they got their asses handed to them in the final 3 regular season games of the year. I remember hearing a lot about that. Didn't Tebow tear up during the final postgame presser of the regular season?
Nobody knows except those on the inside. I tend to go by LT's comment that it was as bad as he's ever been around. That would clearly indicate more than 1 or 2 people.
Are you saying Rex Ryan should encourage his players to not talk smack or dis BB and his rings?? Cmon man, Ryan made that culture now he needs to live it. Fine to be the modern day Raiders, but you gotta keep it building. What he did his first two years was astonishing, can he keep it going or is the mojo gone??
I'll state my opinions openly. You can agree or disagree, or disregard entirely if that makes you happy.
When one "states" one's opinions openly on a message board, one must expect to be able to defend or discuss said opinions with other members of that message board. That's what makes this a Jets fans' board and not a Jets suggestions receptacle.
I, too, would absolutely endorse replacing this malcontent troublemaker if not for the varied impediments financial and otherwise to so doing. I make notches on my bedroom wall daily marking the days until we can free ourselves of this "cornerback." Jepp.
And I stated my opinions were those of an outsider needing education on the Jets. If I'm in error about the dearth of leadership on the team, I'm more than happy to have someone explain why I'm wrong. But since Jets players have said it's a problem, and the one thing anyone who's ever played with Tebow (including veterans like Champ Bailey and Brian Dawkins) has consistently said is that Tebow is a superior leader, then I think it's supportable to say Tebow represents a leadership upgrade for that locker room. That being said, I also fully endorse the notion that if you don't produce on the field, you can't lead in the NFL.
Different team, different scenario. Sometimes that can be all it takes to bring someone around. I genuinely like the kid, it comes down to not being a fan of this particular move more than anything. But, you never know how these things will turn out. Couple years from now it could be one of those genius moves that made all the difference.
It will be a genius move. Even if Tim fails as a QB, he does have talent for scoring TD's. Wonder what the Vegas odds look like with the Jets? Crap I'm rambling. Need some sleep.
