I like them the way they are. Like someone esle said..we are not the Eagles. The black looks too eagles to me.
the padres did this in baseball. i think it would work on a football uniform. and considering there are military guys at every home game i think it would be a great idea
It would be better to use a modern jet design like perhaps the F-22 Raptor....Now that badboy is a serious JET.
that's what i'm talking about. something modern. For everyone who didn't read the link - those designs are from a Jet fan offering his opinion. The Jets have black alternate jerseys, but they are ugly as hell. If they can get those to look better, then they should use those more often. that or go back to the 60's uniforms.
Too bad we aren't the NY Helicopters then we could put propellers on our helmets. Like this, but a helmet.
No black is my vote. keep just green and white. Simplicity. Our worst years were when we started adding black and a kind of metallic look prior to Parcel's arrival and transition back to a more tradiditional look. Keep what we're wearing now. No changes needed.
WTF? that was supposed to be a photo of a badass F-22 Raptor. Anyway the Jets do need to update the image of the Jet. Time to go with a serious sleek ultramodern Jet that is the King of the skies. The F-22 Raptor. Huge cross marketing opportunities with Lockheed Martin here. The F-22 is a sweet ride and would make a great new logo design.
I think the "Jet Black, can be great. I do not want to see a jet plane though. I design can be made to represent what a JET player means and give the sense of speed and power graphically with the name or graphic.
South Carolina (Gamecocks) did this as well, although it was their shoulders only and it kinda looked weird, but it was appreciated by the military
These designs, combined with the PSL issue and relocation of my seats from "good" to "nosebleeds" could drive me to never watch NFL football again, OR become a (let me choose a random team) SD Chargers fan. ; ) That "Jet"on the helmet looked like a Pregnant Dolphin with Wings. HORRIBLE
Does anyone else remember the black uniforms they had trotted out for a glance Johnny Mitchell wore it. It actually looked nice at the time I really liked it soe i don't think this is an original idea but hey a little of the bad guy image would not hurt until you wanted to play in south florida in august then never wear black
i like some of the uniforms but i hate all the helmets. a green/black alternate uni would be nice with the helmet we already have. i'm content. we have amazing uniforms already.
i wouldn't mind a uniform change, in fact I'd welcome it. But nothing for nothing, those suck ass water. A fucking jumbo jet? Do they want to be portrayed as a big tub of lumbering aluminum? And the colors don't just suck ass water they actually resemble ass water.
