The New Your Jets lost, football is a team game... Just like the games Clemens lost, it was not all his fault.

If you truly believe that then you are setting yourself up for major disappointment. Clemens at this point in his young career is not a better option, all bias aside.

Hypothetically, what if Chad comes in a lights it up? For everyone that says he hasn't done crap all year, he also hasn't been healthy. His ankle should be fine now and I think that will make a big difference.

If the lights it up with banged up offense, what do the Jets do?

WFAN has been reporting all day that "Mangini says that if Clemmens is OK he will start Sunday".

Well here's Chad final chance to ensure mediocrity. Cash says he wins the last two and knocks us out of the top 5 pick. Thanks for the average memories Chad.

Like the 41-0 beatdown against the Colts, and the win in SD in 2004?

As far as memories go, Chad has more then most Jet QBS

I hope Chad does start and has a great game and shoves it up all the fans asses that ripped him all year.

The words "Chad" and "Great Game" don't belong in the same sentence anymore.

People just talk shit and are so uninformed, some of this speaks about the mediocrity of the franchise but like people said, it's not like there is a lot of good history so we can easily dismiss Qb's.

But all of that means not a damn thing, Super Bowl or 4-12 baby!

    Same old Jets scenario.

Chad starts and plays well enough for us to win but Coles in order to help Chad out plays while hurt. Both Chad and Coles go down to career ending injuries and have absolutely no trade value. Behind Tui we beat a bad KC team and end up with a JAG DL in the Draft after all the good ones are gone and the Pats pick up McFadden one spot ahead of us.

They trade him for the best value possible.

In case you missed the point of all the pre-benching debate...that was not it. The point is that while he may have given us our best chance to win NOW, he did not give us the best hope for a future championship. We would be best served by noodles complete dismantling of both Tennessee and KC so that we can get the most value in return for his glue and rubber-banded-up ass.

After sucking all year and leading us to 1 and 8 it would only be fitting that he would shove it up all our asses when it doesn't count.

Chad helped to make this team a winner again, and he does have more good memories with this team then most Jet QB's, that is fact. Vinny had one big year and them was toast. Clemens has done nothing with his shot at being the started, he beat the Dolphins and Steelers, wow, watch out. I can't believe so many are ready to jump on and ride with this guy, he's got a good ar,m but he has bad accuracy, Pennington didn't light teams up but he won, even if he won ugly he still won, which is better then 3-10. I don't know, I love the Jets and I don't want to see a tailspin, things have been good since 1997 when this team started to go .500 or highter every year and every year they were playoff contenders.

I'll be rooting my ass off for Chad, not for draft position and not for Chad's trade value. I still think his skills have deteriorated to the point of ineffectiveness, but I hope he proves me wrong.

On the other hand, I trust our FO/CS on injury reports very little, and would not be surprised to see both Coles and Clemens starting against the Titans.

Chad can maybe help win last games for us but there is no point in winning more games, since it is only for fans. but if clemens has injury then we do not have choice. like someone say "season is over", but it is still a game and we still want to see jets win. right??

I don't really care if we win or not as long as Pennington has a high completion percentage and a solid QB rating I'm happy.

3rd and 7 on the opposing 16 is an impossible spot?

3rd and 12 on the 21 was rough but that was Chad's inability to get the play off.

you do not make sense. how come you do not care if the jets win or lose??? how can a fan say something as that.

also, why do you care if chad is very precise in throwing, if team does not win how is the performance of chad helping other team members. i do not understand.
