Eh. New coaching regime and brand spanking new defense makes 2008 seem like nothing. I wasn't counting the whole Favre thing.

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

If it's for a 4th, I'm down. Anything higher and I'd much rather give our guys a shot. My friend, who is a Skins fan, loves Campbell. He's pissed the Skins are looking to mortgage their draft to grab Sanchez.

Eh. All the excitement from last offseason came well before Favre. :)

Holy crap! i just realized imagine how great draft day would be if we got Campbell! Look at it lik thiss:
    1st we get Campbell for a 3rd
2nd hopefully we get lucky and are able to draft Maclin with the first pick
3rd we draft a Rb or Defensive end with our 2nd rd pick
and then fill our needs at OLine and Defense with the rest of the draft!
Wow i could only dreamm for sucha scenario

Gotta love.... or hate the idiocy preceeding the draft every year.

Well this isn't going to happen because the Skins are not drafting Stafford.

Agreed completely. To me it's a perfect fit. Rex wants a game manager. Campbell is the epitome of a game manager. Will he win games on his own? Probably not. Will he manage and play a crisp game? Absolutely.

    Nah man...this is what I said -

Getting Jason Campbell without getting rid of our first would be a great move.

Can anyone who watches a lot of Redskins games tell me why Campbell got sacked 38 times last year? That number just jumps out at me.

Because Chris Samuels is the only guy on that line who can block? Whoever they have back there is going to get hit a lot, and I'm not sure they have much depth set up for the future when guys like Thomas, Jansen, etc are completely through.

God, I love the draft hype.

Anything new? Aren't we trading for Drew Brees or Phillip Rivers yet? Hell, How about Peyton Manning? I'd like a year or two. Better yet, is Favre coming out of retirement?

I don't want to feel like I'm watching a team with Trent Dilfer on it. I would love for this team to win a Superbowl, but not like that.

    Ah...

Fuck it, I would be happy with that scenario too. I'm just not a Campbell fan.

Good college players develop under good/great nfl coaches. clemens and ratliff were clearly good college players at the least. if they have not improved couldn't that be a clear indication that coaching sucked over the last few years and not neccessarily the players? look at gholston. where was his development from the first game to the last? i dont want to hear about he almost. cardinals almost won the superbowl, we almost drafted brett favre, etc. we owe one of these guys a shot, if not i also have to be oncerned with our scouts. like why in hell did the NJ NETS sign Yi. whoever in the organization thought that he was a goo choice should be fired, same within the Jets organization. who has selected 3 busts at the QB position? are we going to trust these same people again?

Campbell's decent, but would you rather start Clemens/Ratliff and get a solid player in round 2 or take Campbell? I wasn't a huge fan of his in college, but he's been a solid ball control quarterback.

The fact that Washington would trade him already is a red flag though.

I wouldn't give more than a third for him...Washington obviously wants no part of him. Of course that means the Jets will give up their entire draft for him.
