Two questions for anyone in this thread. Question 1, why do people reference (I think) McFadden as DMC? And my second question is, why would we take another CB (McKelvin) with the 6th pick after trading up last year to get Revis?

    1. Darren (D) McFadden (MC) His nickname in college was also Run DMC

    2. I have no idea why people want us to take a corner with a top 10 pick...no corner in this year's draft is worthy of being selected that high. If we trade out, maybe it's a possibility, but I hope we get a wideout in the first two rounds.

Unless Mckelvin and Cromartie stock has risen a ton and I don't know about it I think it's impossible that Tangini picks one without trading down.

If one pick was destined for one of the two CB's I would most likely pick Mckelvin because I like players who step it up on the field and not only a combine freak. With the other pick, Groves seem like he could add pass rush and a WR in the 2nd.

When you say "playmaker", do you mean on or off the field. Baby Daddy McFaddie sure has the latter all sewn up.

I think that we have enough playmaker on Offense to be able to consistently move the chains this coming season. Remember 2006 Coles and Cotcherry without a decent RB and only a mediocre OL. They can both regain that form having a QB with enough time to throw. Running games? TJ and LW can deliver if holes were being made up front for them. TE? We may have to coin a new nickname for Baker....like the First-down-maker, if he didn't have to focus too much on helping the OL block.

Throughout the modern history of the game, SB winners have had consistently potent defensive units. Some got by with only limited offensive talent so long as they could control the clock. I can't name one SB winning team that had a mediocre defense, can you?

Let the FO focus in on giving us a dominant defense that would destroy people on Sundays.....first and foremost.

at that point mcfadden is the only pick. Think how dominant our running game could be with him in the backfield. Plus, after mcfadden IMO, there is a massive dropoff in talent. McFadden is by far the best player available and is a significantly better prospect than any CB or WR in the draft. If the jets pass up on mcfadden and take a CB or WR i think i might throw up.

Perfectly said. I have a feeling Tangini is on board with everything your saying- Gholston or McKelvin at 6 and follow that up with another defensive player in round 2

Skips the best, they usually never find a good enough challenger to debate him though

If Skip Bayless was on Around the Horn, he'd get negative points every single day.
