Refs, I Know We're All Sick of the Subject . . .

    Thoughts? If they don't see it they can't call it. This is where the guy in the cloud should be making the call if he is going to exist at all. At the very least they need to make it very clear what those guys are supposed to be calling or ignoring.

    I agree on some level, but meanwhile Mahomes flops and gets the flag.

    "Any reviewable play which takes place in the final two minutes can't be challenged. It must be initiated by the replay official." o_O

    I know, I know, I know, but there is no consistency at all about what is reviewable. Am I wrong here?

    That's the replay official who has been around a number of years - what are the duties of the guys around only this past year who call down to the refs to pick up flags or call things they missed without a challenge at all? Are they one and the same or do they operate independently? It's all kind of unnecessarily clandestine.
