Yes, and Michael Kay is clearly the pinnacle of journalistic integrity. His word is gospel right? The comment was made on a radio show, the one I heard anyway. If it says something else somewhere, I haven't seen it.
That's the one I heard, too (via WEEI in Boston). Not that Michael Kay's word is gospel, but I never heard the direct source, either. Where'd you get the actual Francona quote? I didn't hear that.
I listen to EEI most of the day if I'm not at work. I don't remember the exact day or show it was on, but I do remember hearing it.
who cares.. its an internet messageboard.. apparently u understand everythin that i have said so far, so it doesnt really matter how i spell things on the computer.. u just think that ur word is the end all, and u know more then everyone else.. it jus gets annoying after a while.. maybe im reading it wrong.. it just seems like u have to correct everyone..
Huh. Well that's the same place I got the info, but I didn't hear it from Francona's mouth. I just heard Dale and Holly talking about it earlier this week.
Don't they teach English at Hofstra? And it DOES matter if you want to be taken seriously. The second I see someone type like that, in my head they are automatically an idiot and/or retarded. That may be why I'm coming across as if I think I'm smarter than you. I do think I'm smarter than you, and by a lot. It may or may not be true, but as long as you continue to type with complete and total disregard for spelling and grammar, I will see you as stupid. I'm sorry, but I can't help it. Anyway, I DO feel the need to correct people when they say something completely wrong. Other than that though, not so much.
You mean grow up and not speak/type like I'm 12? By the way, was it REALLY that hard to type the word "you're" instead of "ur"? Not really, I would imagine, and it makes you seem slightly less brainless.
not a good sign when your lineup has a leadoff hitter who doesn't get on base even 30% of the time. This game would've been so different with Manny in the lineup.
