lol, I wont lie man, that was pretty funny. It's just to bad that you all have no idea how much we love the Rays around Tampa Bay. We have never had a front office committed to winning baseball, now we have it...And before you know it, these baseball fans around Florida will be in love with this team. It's not about winning or losing, but atleast we now have an owner and front office who understands the game of baseball... In less than 3 years, they have turned this team around... I love it. Laugh @ the Rays attendance now... Because it's about to change, it's already changing.
I actually went to a bar with friends to watch Game 1, but I posted after it. Game 2 I was at a hockey game for most of the first half of it, but I posted when I got home. I didn't go to a game because for one thing they were in Tampa and I live in Massachusetts. I also can't afford tickets because unlike Tampa, people here actually care about the team and the park is sold out every night.

The fact of the matter is this...You have been wrong about the Rays all year long, you have doubted these guys because they "Lack the experience to win in the clutch" You have said stuff like "this young Rays team has no chance during the dog days of the Summer" Or how about the fact that you freaking doubted David Price? Do you even understand and see young talent when you see it? Do you? I have refused to agree with the garbage you have said about my team all season...Dont be upset and hate on me because I knew we had a special team in the Rays here in 08....While you have refused to call them by their name "Rays" While refusing to admit that they are a strong young team. I dont need a winning team to be a fan of my team...I'm a Jets fan for a reason, I love em...Win or lose. Same goes for the Rays and Knicks. And this Rays team will only continue to get better...Im loving the fuck outta this 2008 season, nothing anyone says can ever change that. This has been a magical season. 1-1 with the Red Sox in the ALCS Baby. Lets go Garza! And you know what? This does mean shit...This means a lot. The futurue of the Rays is bright
No one has once faulted you for being a Devil Rays fan. You are pissing people off with the same fucking rhetoric about how young they are and how full of heart they are. Young dosen't mean shit. Heart dosen't mean shit. You can't claim they are the future. They've had 1 good season. Ever. They have expiring contracts in the next 2 seasons, they've got severly underpaid players who are going to demand a pay raise, they have holes that need to be filled.
Just about every young talent is signed long term other than Upton who has said over 15 times that he will be signing with the Rays during the offseason. The future is bright here in St.Pete
