compare Beckett's regular season homer rate to his postseason homer rate.

    Astonishing comparison.

I can't believe it. Shields just allowed a homer to the pitcher.

"His first hit and he couldn't have gotten a bigger one."

    Ummm, yes he could've.

this game is not over and the series is not over.

I'd put it at 50/50 as to who takes this series.

Trust me ..... this series is over. Lester won't get smacked around the way he did in game 3. The Rays are playing like it's over. No hits, piss poor defense and just a lack of enthusiasm. I can tell by their body language they know it's over......

nah man, I'd put money on the Rays if you'd give me good odds.

This ain't over. I don't believe Tampa has conceded the series.

I was saying pretty much the same things about the Sox through 6 innings Thursday night. This GAME isn't over yet, let alone the series.

It was high, but it was a strike. Honestly, Pena should have crushed the shit out of that ball.

if the Pena pitch was a strike, why wasn't the 3-1 pitch there a strike. Looked almost the same as far as location goes.

The big difference is that the Sox didn't blow a 7 run lead with 7 outs in the series nor are they not getting men on base. Momentum is a big thing and right now any mo the Rays had is completely gone and it's all in the corner of the Sox and I don't see it leaving. With Lester going tomorrow I'd make the the Sox a -175 favorite

I'd make the Red Sox about -150 tomorrow and this game is definitely not over.

Red Sox would be -250 or so in this game.

Varitek now 4/30 in the playoffs with 1 RBI.

If that's not the pitcher's spot, what is?
