Could be but we will never know since he never had the oppoortunity to play a full career. Since he came up the same year as Rice I really think it would have been very tough for him to get in since Rice #s were so outstanding
I know I'm probably alone on this but Toon and Namath in my eyes were the two most talented players to wear the uniform and Toon was outright great and regardless of Rice's numbers if Toon has a healthy career even a short one the writers would have recognized it.
OK I am sorry I cannot go along with U on Toon HOF status. I actually think that Boozer with no knee injury would have have been in the HOF which makes him the same as Toon. Actually since the SB3 team the NYJs have been devoid of having outstanding players. They have some good players but no out of this world players since 70 which is one of the reasonable there are no other SB trophies in our trophy case + no AFC championships
I didn't see you answer the question of who are some other Wrs playing today that you consider to be game breakers.
Yes I know you mentioned Jerry Rice, Randy Moss and TO, 3 of the best Wrs to ever have played the game. That is why I asked who are some OTHER Wrs playing today that you consider to be a game breaker.
So basicly you are saying, I have no freaking clue if there are any Wrs playing today(other than TO and Moss) that are game breakers.
Actually Champ, my detective skills are pretty darn good, it might be your memory that needs some sharpening as you did not name one other active WR other than Moss and TO. Are those the only active WRs that you consider to be a game breaker?
I think we have had many excellent players, and a small group who I would classify as outstanding like Toon, Klecko, Powell and McNeil. Unfortunately not enough of them at the same time.
Actually you DIDN'T answer it but keep telling yourself you did in order to keep avoiding the question.
okay, so what if you answered it already? why not just answer it or again, or just admit that you don't know.
