:) The Raiderjeaux Argument on Wheels - once again open for bid'ness. Powered by the now-missing TGG archives. Where's plinko - he's a pretty good Raiderjeaux historian.

You're hard at work telling me what happened last year, when all I'm doing is pointing out what you said before disaster struck (and thousands of gallons of silver face paint and mascara started running down Bay Area stormdrains.)

Fact - You WERE crowing about the Raider defense before last season. Tommy Kelly and his 8 sacks ring a bell? A combination of Sapp and Washington ready to swallow up the run (along with the west coast supply of porkrinds). Rob Ryan with another year under his belt, ready to unleash the animals. Any of this clicking, Jeauxseph? It certainly should. It all came flowing out of that keyboard of yours - the one with all the keys stuck in the wrong place.

Fact - When none of that came to fruition, right around game 6 or so, you shifted courses, and started crowing about the young, exciting defense that was playing much better than its 31st ranking. It was like some old, fat guy behind the curtain, cranking all those knobs and levers: "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT CRAZY STATISTIC!!"

Fact - Your team has, in fact, increased its defensive speed. All of that will help them to maybe get up off the ground quickly enough after they get trampled, just to come close enough to get a whiff of ass before the first down marker.

Fact - Michael Huff was my one coveted guy in the draft. He was a good pickup, but I'm curious to see how he'll perform in a bastardized (and poorly operated) Belichick defense.

Fact - Randy Moss and Jerry Porter caught 2,000 yards between them. Lamont ran for 1,000 yards. Kerry Collins threw for 3,700 yards, and could have broken 4,000, with a 77 QB rating. What more could you expect?!! That's just about as good as that bunch of layabouts can do. What they didn't do is score. You've solved that how? With Aaron Brooks?

Fact - No, it's true - you never did lead the Tom Walsh charge. HOWEVER, your whole coaching prediction-thingy went woefully south. First, you told us how coaches would be clammering to grab the reigns of Nutjob Nation. Then, Bobby Petrino dearly wanted the job - but for his 16 year old son, who weeped for his Paw not to leave Louisville and take him away from his high school sweetums. In truth, Crazy Al begged Petrino, who turned him down THREE [IMG] times. Meanwhile, a handful of other candidates took their names out of the running early in the process, clearly not wanting any involvement in that Black Hole - where good football careers go to die.

Still, when Kooky Davis recycled Art Shell (stealing him away from no one), you told us how you were unconcerned. You told us that a hot offensive mind would come in (and, again, they were banging down the doors ) and make everything work out. Cam Cameron, ring a bell? Raider boards weren't so cofident; but you, on the other hand, were steadfast that a hot OC would fix it all. And then Tom Walsh was hired. AGAIN, your prediction fails, but you still weren't concerned (you said), because all of this talent on your team was sure to overcome all of the front office ineptitude.

[As an aside, Amy Trask does crack me up. She's too good for that bunch of misfits.]

Look, Jeaux, I like you. You know that. You're my favorite pirate/transvestite/road warrior/smog monster in all of Nutjob Nation. The problem is, you refuse to admit that TGG Highway is littered with busted-up and failed Raiderjeaux predictions. And, as plinko, 10P10, abyzmul, and a dozen or so others have pointed out to you time and again - you ALWAYS deflect to a new subject when you're called to answer for a mistake of the past.

Time to pay the man, Jeauxseph. Admit that you have sinned and we can all move forward.

furthermore...if you think the jets arent going to be a good watch then why the hell wouldnt you get the package and at least you can pick and choose which non-jet games you watch....the nfl package is the greatest thing ever....if you are able to get a clear sight for a dish and can afford the 2oo bucks and still feed your family then i cannot possible see why you wouldnt get the dish......i got assaulted when i said macs were better than pc's so im a little gunshy...but the dish over the cable debate is an absolute no-brainer....there is no way on this earth that the best cable provider comes even close to the dish
