i think most pats fans are rooting for the jets this weekend. i live in mass and have been wearing the jets gear everywhere for 2 weeks. some pats fans just look in horror, but others are like - "Go Jets - you guys deserve it..." reason #6: the red sox haven't added any offensive firepower to their lineup reason #7: brady is past his prime.
Look, the way this Pats fan sees it, my loyalty is first with my team, then with my division, and then with my conference. Ohh, and I always root for the team that bounces me out of the playoffs too (this year it was Baltimore against Indy) - and that's because if the team that beats me goes on to win it, well, that just proves our loss was more likely "their" win. Unfortunately, this year that wasn't the case. The Pats were caught were their pants down, walking backwards into the playoffs.
