just like he said hes never felt better staring 30 down the barrel coming off surgery for herniated discs in his back.

    its called damage control.

Cotch has always been a soldier, but hes also a competitor. anyone who thinks he was happy being anything less than a #2 WR is naive.

we'd all love to see him retire a jet, but I have no issue with him being unsatisfied playing musical chairs on the depth chart.

we did whats right by him and let him try to get a starting job.

    its over.

    wish him the best

    the end

(closes the j-co jet legacy book)

Amazing plays are made on every NFL field every week. Edwards has never been better then Buress as an NFL WR never. Braylon is a physical freak who is undisciplined and hasn't ever lived up to his ability. Plax while a bit of a head case catches the ball in his hands, runs precise routes and has a book on every NFL CB. He unlike Braylon is a disciplined WR with freakish talent.

It sucks losing Cotch but the guys production has been declining and he has been injury prone the last couple of years. He is coming off back surgery and Mason who I don't love at this point has been at least as productive as Cotch has been the last few years.

On top of that this team isn't done. We have loads of room under the cap and there is still lots of moves to be made.

Holmes and Buress both have rings both make their QB better and if Buress is healthy brings an upgrade from Braylon just because he allows the O to actually run multiple patterns which Braylon was simply incapable of.

Maybe Cotch felt the heat from Kerley coming.... The beat writers and even Sanchez love this guy and he is impressing everyone.

With him not being 100% and Kerley getting all the reps he may have been looking to be #4.

I don't agree. Plexiglass at 34 won't be as good as braylon would have been. If we could have kept him at even 4.5 or 5 mil a year, it would have been a good deal.

I don't think he will go to jail even with what's happened recently.

I think this (new receivers) may be the 1 thing that negatively effects the offense the most early in the season. They may be able to step up and mesh with the qb as the season goes on, but I don't think it will happen right away.

Plus, who do we have that will drag patsies into the endzone and dougie on their asses now???

I hope that this post is used the rest of the season for any questions on why the Jets are going in the direction they are with the WR Corp.. Excellent job I.J.R.,as much as we love some guys (not in a gay way) it's a business and even the players understand this.

The Jets are making moves based on improving the team with every chance they get. This bodes well for the future long term outlook for the team. Just like when they let Alan Fanica go last year, better a year too early then a year too late. Something the Jets as a club did way too many times in the past...

On Madden yes. On an actual team? I'm not sure. Would he concentrate, not bitch, not drive drunk, not get suspended, and work hard all the time? Maybe, maybe not: we don't have that kind of information. But Cleveland did trade him for pennies on the dollar, the Jets didn't offer him big money, and it appears that he didn't get any great long term offers despite his obvious talent, so there's a good chance he is a bad apple despite all the nice things Rex and Tanny and Sanchez said about him in public.

That was obvious when they pulled up a whole bunch of dating websites but you won't find many girls to not put on a "pedastal" here. This is a football site so i'm going to ask you again, who should I draft at QB oh enlightened one?

Thanks again for your sports anchoresque insight to the Burress move.

Please reply in your fan thread.

This a million times. Braylon only signed with the 49'ers because no one else was offering any kind of money. He was done with the Jets as soon as they signed Burress. The Jets were still trying to get him back at that point, but he wanted no part of it

Bro. 95 rating on Madden. Srqman1 will vouch. Madden is the number 1 legit source in football. Ask that dude who wanted to sign Ty Law when he had a 97 rating.

It's taking a lot to hold my tongue. I'll just say that you are quite possibly one of the most annoying people I've ever had the grace of reading on a message board.

If you weren't looking for feedback then why post it at all. I agree this topic has been beaten to death in other 50 threads about the actual moves.

Stop typing like a 13 year old.

Ok guys we can lay off him, he was tired and watched jersey shore last night. Expecting him to be able to scan a few thread titles is out of the question. His brain is at least 50% less efficient than the average TGG poster so we are lucky we even got basic sentence structure from him.

I'm locking this piece of shit up.

Nesquik, if you don't want feedback, don't start any threads.
