Yeah it seems as if the Ravens want the younger guys to get more PT (Kruger, Redding). I wonder why they dropped him mid season tho

Baltimore is on hook to pay Trevor Pryce his $2 million in guaranteed salary, plus whatever Jets have paid him on his new one-year deal.

So Trevor Pryce double dips. Baltimore pays him $2 million in salary, and he still collects money on one-year deal he agreed to with Jets.

Can anyone confirm if Pryce only STARTED 7 games last year or only played in 7 ?

Because I was under the impression he only played in 7, which woulda had him on pace for 15 sacks last year.

It's a nice addition, but we're not getting late 90's Trevor Pryce. He is 35 years old after all.

Yeah could you imagine having Suggs and Pace with a healthy big Jenks running a OLB blitz!

The only reason I can think of why they released him is an underlying injury thats must be pretty serious

lol if we get Suggs it wont be until after Pace/Jenks are long retired.

Hes young and in his prime plus commanding a huge contract.

That's fine with me. Nothing to lose for us, plus we get a little insurance for the D-line. I've been worried about that in case someone else goes down.

    Thanks Ravens! Perfect timing.

What I love about this, is you know Rex saw Pryce got released and his eyes lit up. They swooped in quickly and basically stole him from the Ravens. So if Rex really wanted this guy, I have confidence he can come in and contribute.

Not going to lie... I'm smiling ear to ear at the thought of the fact that we defeated the Pats and Ravens with what we had when we still have so many players due to join / come back in the next week or two...

Just imagine what this team is going to look like when at full strength!

Does anyone know why the Ravens cut him hoping to re-sign him? I think it's hilarious they got screwed on that one.

Harbs is not dumb. He just said they were planning to re-sign Pryce out of respect for the veteran but he of all people knew someone was going to pick him up.

They have plenty of depth there and are trying to get younger.

With that said, Pryce is still a good upgrade to our pass rush, so I won't complain.
